Was sceptical but downloaded it because I liked the idea. And I have to say: YEAHHH Hooraaay! Great idea, great realisation. And even games that are not that good as a stand alone game shine with this style of gameplay.
Those extreme expecations go beyond anything reggie or Iwata could possibly fullfill. So take yourself a christmas or whatever cheer, take a drink or two and relax with some existing game goodness.
@belmont: Agree with chibi as a whole but the artstyle in this game isn´t that much chibi. Played the demo a bit and I liked the challenge and I have to say that the micro transaction bullpoopiedoodoocacapoopsiedoodlepoopiedoopie isn´t that big deal I thought it would be. So my apologies if I was too harsh at first glance. Please watch the profanity — TBD
I cannot believe it that germany get so many games translated while other countries don't. I mean germany has a population of about 80 mill. France 60 and poland nearly 39mill. and while german is not a very common language it still gets games translated. I consider french, english and spanish as world languages. I still enjoy my games in english its a very practical and straight out language.
I am ok with that. But I would be ok with DLC too, if it makes sence.
@MeWario I didn´t like MarioKart Wii as much as Double Dash on GC because it lacked the 2Player Grand Prix Mode. SP was fine and lenghty but DLC would be cool to expand the game with a view tracks.
I admire that they are caring but at least they should reconsider a better solution without punishing milliion users that are using the service appropriately
@D3athBr1ng3r187 They don´t jump just into the money train. They always tried to do things a bit differently. I mean thats my perception of the Nintendo´s evolution: Slow and sturdy but with every few years a major suprise. Don´t you get me wrong. I am not a Nintendo Fanboy, my heart also beats for sony. I mean as a open minded gamer you are forced to jump multiplat because some franchises like castlevania or Megaman got split up on the systems. As I stated before: Nintendo will not get the attention of Online MP Gamers that means low sale figures, less third party support ( the actual situation represents it quite realisticly)
@D3athBr1ng3r187 I am not defending Nintendo but I am realistic in interpretating 30 years of Nintendo´s development politics. Anyone expecting a u-turn in Nintendo´s habbits is living a lie.
I really understand why everyone is so upset butwe have to face the fact that nintendo always acted like an excentric fashion designer. We get wicked but great consoles and handhelds but they do it their way and very often they don't react on consumers wishes. It would be great to play classic vc games via online multiplayer but we don't get it. Now even the third parties cut the online multiplayer out. I am asking myself if this is some kind of Nintendo policy but I am lakcing the insider knowledge.
@Likstrikesback I think it is a harsh assumption just thinking because of einherjars oppinion he is young and inexperienced.
It' s a matter of fact that online mp will consume lots of money for servers and maintenance and that the development time will increase.
Beside that I have to agree with you Linkstrikesback that the the statement of Einherjar is a bare thesis without evidence. But neither of us myself included has evidence for his statements. I think we are all just expressing our humble oppinions.
It bears more tension and fun to see the reaction of a friend in person. But that doesnt mean to exclude an online feature because it lures more players into buying a game and nintendo lacking this feature will be a dissappointment for the online gamer audience. Personally I don't care about online multiplayer
The headline was very misleading. I get his points and they are reasonable but I think Nintendo should be on his own so they can take more risks and invent more interesting gadgets and gaming devices. And the thing he is mentioning about bringing new blood to Nintendo and his franchises: it's already happening . New developers take Nintendo Franchises to new glory like Donkey Kong country or Metroid.
@Yasume no I am living in germany . And yes I skipped the whole ds era and I have distinctive taste when it comes to games. Downloaded the demo already but sometimes the demo isn't representing the game right like the project x zone demo.

@Zael Stop with your ignorance and accept the meaning of the term "feminist" and don´t make something up that is not existent.
@Romeo Same for you. Just read a good dictionary it might help you.

@Tetragrammaton I am not sure if I misunderstood you. But as far as I am concerned we are able to download and start up 3ds Games from Sd Card.

@Elvenmonk
What the hell??
If this is true I understand why Nintendo shut it down. Poor us that used the service in a normal way.

Re: Bravely Default To Feature Optional Special Attack Abilities as Microtransactions
It may sound harsh but thats why I won't buy this game. Hello Ace Attourney
Re: Overlay Gives an Old NES Controller Some New Zelda Sleekness
Cannot understand why this is US only. I mean it is lightweight and it wouldnt cost any duties crossing countries borders.
