The original port was based off of the very dated mobile port, so it not a surprise to see this version looking way better. Would love to see more classic rpgs done this way.
Meh, it will either be forces "utter garbage" or generations/colors "pretty good, FOR a 3D sonic game". I'm more curious to see what the mania team has been up to.
Really happy about this collection (assuming it will be on switch), the classic sonic games are still one of my all time favorite platformers, the pinball physics and level designs are so much fun. The series never felt right in 3D to me, they were basically different games altogether. Sonic 3 is definitely the highlight of this release, so I hope the emulaion is done well.
Used to rent lost vikings back in the day, it wasn't bad for a puzzle platformer (I guess that's what you'd call it), but not sure it's something I would play now. Still, it's cool to see blizzard re-releasing games from their roots.
This is amazing, I was always disappointed that the original version never got ported to consoles. This personally makes up for any disappointment I had with the direct. Also, glad to not see "arriving in 2022".
Really looking forward to this, just not sure which version to get, worried if the visuals and performance take a decent hit on switch or not. Used to get most games on switch without thinking twice, then I got mortal kombat 11......damn that looked bad, like really bad.
@GannonBanned The article itself is neutral, but they know well that it will cause the comments section to get, um, "active". Not sure what it has to do with white people, but eh.
Hype is a problem, I totally agree. However publishers know that hype sells, people are buying games before they even release, guaranteeing sales. It's part of marketing and it's not going to end anytime soon.
What's with the controversial articles? Anyway, I don't think our version in the west should be censored at all, there's no need for that. In China/Korea however who this actually affects, sure absolutely.
I'm guessing this series is decently big in Japan? Would of been really neat to get the Famicom versions localized like they did with first Fire Emblem just recently.
Really tired of Marvel stuff so I'm going to pass on the show, but yeah I really love spotting stuff like this in movies/shows. Wouldn't surprise me though if the sound effects of them playing the game sounded like an atari game, they always seem to mess that up, lol.
I get that it's impossible to please everyone, there's so many different people all with different tastes, the best you can do is hope there's at least one or two games in the presentation that appeal to you.
I'm usually all over special controllers like this, but as other have pointed out, drift is an issue. I'd basically be afraid to use these joyons too much.
I honestly hope that's not the case, Splatoon 2 already brought back most of the stages and weapons from the first game. It was fine then since the game was almost like a "deluxe" version of the first (single player content aside). With the third game they should really focus on adding new features, maps, weapons, modes, and fixing common complaints people have. Come on guys, try and keep the series "fresh".
Been wanting to revisit the game but haven't felt like hooking up my old Wii, so I'm really happy to see it coming to switch, curious to see how well it plays with just the pro controller.

Re: Japanese Charts: Rune Factory 5 Beats Miitopia To Number One
Never gave any of the rune factory games a shot, but they seem to be decent games. It's sort of like a spin off of harvest moon or something?
Re: Dragon Quest XII: The Flames Of Fate Officially Announced
Very excited for this, can't wait to see more!
Re: Dragon Quest X Is Being Transformed Into A "Cute" Offline Game
It would make sense to release the offline version over here, so crossing my fingers for that! Maybe it will support local play and be more like IX.
