Re: Miyamoto: Mario Will Likely Return To Single-Player

They should do away with Paper Mario and make an RPG with different Nintendo characters similar to Super Mario RPG. They already have them fighting each other in the Super Smash Bros. series, why not fighting together against old and new threats? The possibilities are endless. No? Oh well, I can dream.

Re: Not All Super Smash Bros. Characters Will Make The Leap To Wii U And 3DS

I'm gonna call it right now.
If anyone is gonna get cut, I say:

1.Toon Link
2.Wolf (I could actually see him staying and having his moves changed)
3.Ike (Probably going to be replaced by a different character from Fire Emblem)
4.Lucario (Probably going to be replaced by a different Pokemon)
5.Snake
6.Sonic (Hopefully not)

I seriously doubt Falco, Ness, Ice Climbers, Jigglypuff, Mr. Game & Watch and Marth are going to be cut considering they've been in at least 2 of the other games.

I agree. I'm surprised they never used his magic attack that you have to reflect back at him from Ocarina of Time. Also, it'd be cool to have him transform into his Ganon form from A Link to the Past or Ocarina of Time in the same way that Zelda transforms into Sheik but that's probably asking for too much. I really wonder how they decided to make him similar to Captain Falcon.

"So if things had gone differently and they released a POWERFUL Wii HD with wiimote controls only, you people wouldn't have run out and gotten that?"
"How is this article ignorant or misinformed or anything like that? Nothing is off here. It isn't being used well in upcoming games (or current ones), and it's not selling well, straight up observations."

I agree with this except I prefer traditional controls. I couldn't care less for motion control. I bought the Wii for Nintendo's strong first party titles and I would've bought whatever next-gen system they came out with even if it didn't have the gamepad.

Arg, I wasn't saying they should name it Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Galaxy. I was saying that since those games obviously had 3D worlds, environments and gameplay, they didn't need the "3D" in the title.

It's safe to assume that "Super Mario 3D Land" was named that because it was playable in 3D. Why did they need to name this game "Super Mario 3D World"? They couldn't have just called it "Super Mario World" because that's already been done. Adding the "3D" in there based on the 3D environments is just silly. They might as well have done that for all of their other games. "Super Mario 64 3D", "Super Mario 3D Galaxy", etc, etc. I think it's time for them to come up with new names instead of adding "3D" and "New" in front and in between everything.

You sort of forget the Wii U has a gamepad while watching these new trailers.. I think this game could easily be a Wii game except it wouldn't be in HD. Hopefully they come out with a way to use the gamepad for these games that'll really turn some heads.
