@solarwolf07 If you'll go to the Pokémon website and look at the Sunsetting info for when they switch to Live, it discusses how their will be microtransactional currency called Crystals or something like that that you can buy. So I feel like it will be microtransaction heavy. It does say if you have 125 card packs in your account when you migrate to Live, you will get 12,500 Crystals if you want to stack up in the meantime.
@Yorumi Because if you work in these kinds of industries, getting a credit is basically like having your stamp on it that says "hey, I made part of this thing that I am proud of being a part of." that you can show to potential employers in the future that will show off your accolades and accomplishments, and let them know that you have been a part of successful and popular projects in the past. If you worked for a grocery store, would it make sense for you to get a "list of credit" stating that you stocked the shelves? Of course not, because future employers aren't going to be looking back at the shelf that you stocked a year ago as a way of looking at your abilities or skillset. In this industry, credits matter a lot, especially after spending 8 months of your life on a single project.
@TheFox To be fair, there are a decent amount of applications that would make this far from "useless". If you on a long car ride and you want to watch Hulu on your Switch instead of your phone, as well as be able to do so without having to hold it in your hand for hours at a time, you can. If you were wanting to play with a Pro controller in the car, with this you could do that too.
