I want there to be a good balance of all types of games. The more people that have a Wii U the better. My biggest hope is that my fellow Nintendo fans actually buy the 3rd party games. There are too many of us that only play Nintendo games.

@Izbirdboy Unfortunately I agree with @BalrogtheMaster, I'm excited about free games as much as the next person, but I start grad school at the end of August so I won't have time to play as much as I like.

You'd think Namco Bandai would know better than to put out something like this. I may regret asking this but, what about Nintendo screams "put crappy software on me"? Lol...seriously. I think Nintendo is the place to put crappy games made by interns and newbies to help them get a feel of the business.

Yeah, can't see myself buying a nintenophone lol. If it looks like the one in the photo however, I'd probably buy it for the novelty lol..

This is a fantastic editorial, even though I feel this site is starting to head toward the pessimistic side. As someone said before, I could care less if it's an evolution or revolution (I'm thinking more evolution though), as long as the bring the games that "I" want, then i'll definitely buy this system. I'm cautiously optimistic if you will, but i'm expecting good things since a lot of devs are backing this thing already and saying good things about it. We'll never know how awesome it is until we know more so, just wait and see. Don't dismiss OR embrace it too early. We'll see in due time whether it'll be great or just a "stop-gap" (a term I believe has been taken out of context by the person who said it and people have been running with).

forgive me for blowing off some steam, but there's so many effin whiners!!! they're not gonna pull out all the stops at once...they have to spread the great titles out over time so people will have things to look forward to...people say they want long lost ips...ninty gives you them and you still complain??? ::sigh:: i'm not saying you have to love EVERYTHING ninty does, but i frequent quite a bit of gaming websites and it's getting to the point where i regret getting back into gaming...so many negative nancies ruin everything for everyone in this modern age...you can't escape it! i know people will troll and say things like "you're whining about whiners wah wah wah" but whatever...i had to say it because i've felt this way for months!

i was hoping that coming to nintendo life would make me feel better about the wii u (as opposed to ign and the like) but it seems that the more info i get and the more impressions i get, the LESS excited "I" get....it's kinda disappointing...i want to love and trust ninty so much but there are so many uncertainties (sp?).....i hope ninty has something up their sleeves to blow us all out of this iffy stage...i really do
