Ive already got it on PS5 and PS4, but I’ll likely buy it on Switch 2 as well. Hoping for a retail standalone release outside of the Generational Pack since I preordered RE9 Deluxe Edition. If released by itself, it’s likely going to be a GKC but I’d take that over digital……as controversial as that is lol

This is amazing. I’ve already bought the Switch 1 version, so I’ll just grab the upgrade pack. I saw the YouTube comparison and I can definitely tell the difference. Well worth buying the upgrade.
@CaptainQuo That is your opinion and I respect that. You are absolutely correct you have a right to your own personal taste. SOTN wasn’t for you. Cool. But at the same time people can and will disagree with your opinion. You prefer old school Castlevania. Cool. You do you.
I personally don’t think the Castlevania N64 games were good, and Lords of Shadow 2 was a train wreck. That’s my opinion and people are free to disagree with me on that. So I’m definitely not a fanboy who will take anything with the word “Castlevania” on it happily with a smile. But hearing someone say “SOTN wasn’t a good game” is certainly going to raise a few eyebrows.
I do think that this new game looks good though. Hopefully it turns out to be a great game on release.
@CaptainQuo “Symphony of the Night wasn't that good.” Have to disagree with you strongly there, as would most players who played the game. If it wasn’t that good, it wouldn’t have been the success that it was. Sure initially it had low sales, but quickly gained the popularity and sales numbers it rightly deserved. It set the formula for many games that followed. I can appreciate that you prefer the old school Castlevania, but the series needs to evolve and try different things, and not use the same formula forever.
