Before anybody else slams their open palms down on their keyboards to leave an insightful comment about Nintendo issuing a takedown of this project, it might be worth reading the tidbit regarding the author’s previous success with their unauthorized Club Nintendo book, also crowdfunded via Kickstarter.
I'd say that's a bit steep for refurbished merchandise, but given that it's coming straight from Nintendo, I might pick up a black 3DS XL (should they ever add them to the refurbished line-up).
I'm a bit disappointed they didn't take on an IP they haven't worked on before (F-Zero and Star Fox remain untouched), but DKCR was awesome, so... still looking forward to this.
Guess Nintendo's not very confident in this one, and I can't blame them. Wario's a hard character to sell. I myself was going to get the game anyway, so the discount price is a nice bonus.
Wow, this is surprising and disappointing. I've been a reader since the mid-2000s and a subscriber since 2008. I'll be sad to see it go, but I guess it couldn't have continued much longer, with print becoming more and more obsolete. The end of an era indeed.
Cool! Fluidity is a really creative platformer. It's nice to see a follow-up. Assuming gyroscope controls will be coming back, I hope they design the game so that the environment on-screen will tilt to stay level with the player's eyes. I don't want to have to tilt my head back and forth constantly while playing.
What a sudden drop in content. I guess the Sonic games in the 8-Bit Summer video were just shown as "coming soon" titles. I'm still happy to have gotten a few good games out of the promotion, though.

Re: Some Wii U Accessories For Your Christmas Stocking
Eh, I don't really care for any of these except the charging station. That thing looks pretty awesome. Definitely putting it on my Christmas list.
