Re: Poll: N64 And Sega Genesis Nintendo Switch Online Games Launch Today - Which Will You Play First?

MindOfAJ

I'll think I'll pass. I see Nintendo doesn't listen to feedback! Microsoft did when they changed their pricing structure.
The price of this isn't the big issue here. Their servers are dated. Played Smash the other day and now I am being thrown out by the server for no reason, and it's a lottery on how each match plays, some are great, some are a few frames per second! Nintendo needs to get with the times already, it took them about 20 years to give us ethernet!
Nintendo should of left online play free and allowed buyers to pick & choose their retro games. Many mention the Wii formula but that wasn't great either, only 480p, and wasn't a great deal really when you add all your purchases up! The N64 games were £7.50 each I think.
It's a shame. I like playing online with the many people out there, it's great fun, improving your skills with the many players you play with competing in a tournament is fun, it's just a shame it's let down by an average service. I think this is why Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has sold well the online seems to be pretty sold.

Re: Deals: Level-5's Gorgeous Ghibli RPG Ni no Kuni Has 84 Percent Hacked Off Its eShop Price [Europe]

MindOfAJ

It's been on the Japanese e-shop a few times at a ridiculous price but had no English edit : ( Glad the deal has finally come to Europe! I will be using the region-free to its advantage and getting an even better deal! I think the sales are getting better for us is maybe covid or their software getting buried on the e-shop. I think there's something like 4000 games on there or something!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 1st)

MindOfAJ

@JasmineDragon Agreed! There is so much choice now! I no longer buy day one because my back catalog is getting out of hand! I have put in 600+ hours in Splatoon alone! and I have RPG's on my list that take 100 hours each! If there was a Direct in August that would be cool, but I won't be buying many more games for some time!

Re: Guide: How To Fix A Drifting Nintendo Switch Pro Controller

MindOfAJ

Yep. No surprise here. Mine developed a fault to the left stick. Noticed it first when I loaded up Splatoon 2. It was like I was walking in low motion. The response got really bad. Luckily it was still under warranty and got fixed by Nintendo. The fault developed just under 2 years. Some grinding white dust develops on the stick. Gaming hard on Splatoon 2 probably speeded up the developing fault. If it's out of warranty you may be better of money-wise fixing it yourselves as long as you have good soldering skills.

Re: Sega's New Astro City Micro-Console Is Packed With 36 Arcade Gems

Mini this mini that. I prefer original hardware. What happened to SEGA putting Saturn & Dreamcast on the Switch anyways? Please SEGA stop rehashing Master System and Mega Drive games! Get your IP's out on all systems! Saturn, Dreamcast, forgotten Arcade classics have been long forgotten by the company! The best thing that came out on the SEGA AGES line was M2 coded Virtua Racing 1080P 60HZ! The rest was same all same all : (
