Unlike most people, I'm absolutely thrilled by the last 2 weeks.

Both of these are big releases to me =]

I recently played this on Capcom Classics Collection and I think it's brilliant.
I'd give it 5 stars but this is the NES version and I'm assuming it won't be as good. Release it soon Nintendo!

I don't have any favourites in the trilogy, but this one is just as good as the others! I also love the graphics on it.
I'll be downloading the minute it's released!

I knew it! The one VC week I don't have my Wii is the week I've been waiting for for about 2 months! (Not to mention the Wii releases of Endless Ocean and Galaxy which I've waited months for)
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait for it to arrive back from repairs to download..

The music's great! The tunes are really memorable, and they suit the style of the game well. I can see why some may not like it though...
I can sort of see what you mean by the huge environments, some levels are a little too mazy. And I also see what you mean about the repetivity. (most levels are glyph based)
Those are the main bad points (for most) you pointed out I think, they just don't annoy me as much.

One thing you didn't mention (maybe because you didn't play for long enough) is the difficulty.
The levels "Dark Water" and "The Machine" are enough to make me change my mind about that 5* rating...

Another good NES puzzler can only be good news =]
Judging by the vid it's a launch day purchase for me!

I forgot about the VC releases last night until I saw a post on the forum this morning, I've never had 0% excitement on VC night before, it feels sort of boring.
Announcing games is good, but it'd be even better if they announced games that I actually want!

Brilliant game, better than I expected.
The stuff was certainly true about the diffiulty, I'll master it though. I did it with Probotector and the GnG games (can do them on hardest difficulty with no trouble) which were both meant to be very difficult games, I can do it with this!

A fun game, it was definitely worthy of the 800 points.
Only thing I'm going to complain about is repetition of text in the Simulation sections.

It's certainly not as good as Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, but that was to be expected.
If you get one GnG title, then pick Super. However, if you liked Super you certainly won't go wrong by purchasing this one too.
This game still holds a lot of the elements that made the sequel so good.

Played this in a triple pack with Alien Storm and this F1 game. It's alright, certainly nothing special though.

I know I said I preferred Sonic 2 originally, but I've realised via Mega Collection this one's much much better.
Best 2D Sonic game around. (Not that the other ones aren't good too)

I've been a huge Picross fan since Mario's Picross on Gameboy, but Picross DS is probably more than enough for me now...
Still, I'll be considering it.

They did have to cut 2 of the minigames out of Harvest Moon DS to avoid an 18 rating though =/
The game looks alright, I'm not really tempted though. I'll just stick to 42 all time classics.

It's pretty clear we're not going to get it seeing as it didn't come out in Europe and it's been so long since it came out on America's VC..

They treat you guys better with the Wii games AND the VC games ¬_¬
And don't say Mario Strikers, because that's just 1 game compared to all the ones you get first!

You know, after finishing this game I've realised how good the original really is. The level design throughout is perfect, much better than that of the sequel and the gameplay is better. I also prefer the music, and travelling to the past is better than the future in Ecco 2.

3 stars for one of the best VC games? This is madness!!

I'm strongly considering getting this game.
Is the fighting in it similar to Dungeons and Dragons: Warriors of the Eternal Sun? It looks a bit like it but it's still hard to tell from the trailer.
Anywho, I think I had better play Paper Mario first!

Wow, I downloaded this a couple of months ago and never really got into it, but I've been investing more time into it recently and I love it!
Easily one of the best games available for VC!

Not a bad game, but not great either.

Dungeons and Dragons: Warriors of the Eternal Sun really is a fantastic game, I would be so happy is Sega actually decided to bring it out. I admit I haven't delved very deep into the genre, but this is enough for me alone. If they release this I won't need a new VC game for months.

Please, please let it happen!

Why do we need all these spin off titles first? Dreamland 3 and Fun Pak are the real ones we need on VC!

Awesome game and probably the best 2D fighting game I've played. I much prefer 3D fighting games but this is still great.

This game probably ties with the 2 Zelda's as the best N64 game ever. Everyone should play this game.

The game may be bettered by SoR2, but that doesn't stop it from being excellant. 5* anyday.

It's a good game, though I don't really remember it. I played it a couple of times when I hacked Sonic Mega Collection to unlock it XD
I watched the video and it doesn't look as good as I remember though.
It just scrapes a 4* in my books.

I just received this on Animal Crossing, and it's AWFUL. I just turned it off after 2 minutes and vowed never to play it again!

It's a great game, and worth the download if you're into that type of thing. I would be downloading it, but I have my SNES set up again now due to impatience making it pointless for me to rebuy. Doh!

Much better than I remember it being, and definitely one of the better games available for VC.
