@TellEveryone I had the same "issue" yesterday, and after some research, it seems 1.0.2 is 1.2. Not sure why some say 1.2, others 1.0.2, but I can confirm mine is 1.0.2, not 1.2. (1.0.1 was released in May, I believe?)
I bought a Switch 3 years ago to play this game. (or hoping to one day). Been playing it since Early Access days on Steam. Best survival game I have ever played. It just feels so relaxing and entertaining to play, even the sounds and music are amazing. I don't see the "huge visual downgrade" from PC, to be entirely honest.
And the cliché, I mean, the game initially did not have a story, it was just survival mode. The story is mostly a tutorial I would say. And considering there's no fantasy or sci-fi element to the game, there is really not a whole lot else they can do.
Finally, the only negative I have found (so far) is really the loading times, which are frankly a few seconds longer.
One of the very few eShop first day purchases I have made. Perhaps the only one? (I bought Hades day 2-3, so I guess that doesn't count)
@ShadJV Between preorder discounts and the 2-in-1 edition price, it was actually a lot lower than the 120$ you mentioned, with the added bonus of having the steelbook. By almost the same, I mean it was about 80-90$. I guess my question is, why not a 2-in-1 pass as well?
I'm a big big fan of the game. I've all the content available for the PC version, and I also have the board game, which is amazing and I love playing it. I've been waiting for months for this one to come to the Switch, but the price tag is just too high. I'll have to wait.
