Ouch! For now, I'll just assume that's just the poorly worded work of a PR, and that it doesn't point towards things being any less amazing than the VR has seemed up until now.
Why do You keep stating that the NX is 'rumoured to be an all-in-one solution'? There are no evidence pointing towards this, and it's nothing but pure conjecture. I've played enough Ace Attorney to know when to shout 'Hold it'!
Sure, some might say it would be nice to have both handheld and hom console in the same package, but I don't know if I could see it work, let alone Nintendo giving up the handheld space for it to happen.
"But Mr. Lyngstud fellow, it wouldn't be giving up on handhelds if it was both!"
Oh, but I think it would! The console would no longer be a dedicated handheld system, and would most certainly be sold as a home console, at the price of one. This would mean that those looking for an affordable handheld, Nintendo's trademark from the Game Boy to the 3DS, would have no such option any longer.
Maybe they could make it possible to buy the handheld on it's own and dock it at home, but I think that would defeat the purpose of the concept to begin with, and it would quite possibly cannibalise sales of the home console as well.
Too long, didn't read? I don't think the NX is very likely to be a combined handheld/home console hybrid, and I don't think any evidence has been provided to prove that it is. Pure conjecture at best. (Still love all the writers on the site, though) ;-"
@Eat_Pie This is largely due to the fact that the game has run out of print, though. You can't find the game first hand anymore, as it hasn't been reprinted as of yet, and second hand copies aren't counted asfar as units sold go.
Now, I would argue that any game that manages to sell through its print so quickly deserves attetion from the compat that made it. Bring on Uprising 2!
...so Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon will still be the best one?
Looking forward to this, but it seems like they have decided to abandon some core concepts.
We'll see how this plays out though. As long as the series isn't dumbed down and waterd out in classic mode, I'll be fine with this infinite weapon nonsense. Just make sure some other mechanics make up for it!
I went past summer. It was brilliant. For me, the highlight was the retro arcade on the top floor, with a retro candy store and dim lighting included in the experience. Best thing is that the whole store is simply put inside an apartment complex, so it initially looks like someone has just decided to make their home a retro game shop.
Yep, this is cheating, no doubt. Hope the availability of pieces doesn't get broken by this.
And the limit to the number of games active is there for a reason. If you have turned on several games, it takes longer for the system to get all the data from the system you are passing. If you're only in range for 20 seconds or so, you might miss out on passes in some games. Personally I keep the number of games with streetpass on down to about 4-5 at a time. Don't want to miss any precious, legit pieces.

I have great respect for the Games Media Awards, actually, and I can think of no one more deserving of the award than Alex this year.

Re: Video: The Game Theorists Plot Out Mario's Timeline and Family Bloodline
@ShadJV You're right, of course. That Pauline makes this theory completely impossible.
Unless... No, that cannot be?!!
Pauline herself is the most beautifully crafted toy of all?!
