Doesn't the Wii have a ~729 MHz processor? Don't most cell phones today have 800 MHz to 1GHz processors? And doesn't Nintendo have a history of using existing technologies? If the answer to all of the above is yes, I don't see why the 3DS beating Wii would be much of a surprise. Also consider that computer power and technology in general are progressing at an exponential rate.
Will there be versions for PS3 and 360 with build mode? I'm personally not into building and would be happy with the Wii version, but my wife would prefer building on a PS3.
I think the unspoken thing here is that the DVD could be given or at least shown to someone that doesn't have a Wii and might get one after watching it. Also, I could see hardcore gamers watching it in split screen while playing if it has content showing how to beat something like a 100 coin challenge in a given time.
If this included component cables I might bite. I'd also be int interested in a way to migrate Wii of DSi downloads to new consoles. My Wii has gotten painfully slow at open channels and when I get a 3DS I don't won't to lose my downloaded games.
I'd love to see Popeye again. I haven't played it since the 5200. Why can't companies make deals with licensed characters and games. If they'd only work out their problems it mean more money for everyone involved. DUCKTALES anyone? Also, I'd like to play some of the levels missing in the NES versions of the Donkey Kong games.
Does this include all five dominoes play modes: 5 Up, Block, Draw, Muggins, and Sniff? My father only plays one type of dominoes, but with DS Download Play this may be a good way to introduce him to more.
Popeye would be awesome. I loved playing it on Atari 5200. I never played Earthbound, but want to give it a try. Yoshi's Island would be great. It's may favorite "Yoshi" game.
Ducktales should have been on you list. It's one of the best games of all time though its not made by Nintendo.
Mario & Wario would be a great Nintendo games to see. The mouse controls could easily be done with the Wiimote.
Does it have different views of the board or different pieces? http://wiiware.nintendolife.com/screenshots/15603 That layout looks strange to me. It'd be better to me if the pieces were not in the pseudo 3D arrangement so that they don't appear larger than the board and/or laying horizontal. I'd prefer it if the board was slightly tilted or better yet if the pieces were given more of a top down view so as not to obstruct the board.
I bought it the other day thinking it would be could, but it was awesome! I love it. Don't know how I missed it before, but I'm glad I have it now. Any recommendations for other Klonoa games? I've played another one on GBA, but don't remember what it was called.
I also agree with your perfect tens, but think that Mega Man 2 also deserves 10/10. It was my first Mega Man game and I still think it's the best Mega Man ever so my views are probably skewed. A 9.5 score would probably be appropriate, but I don't think you should go to decimals for classic games (unless showing averages of old reviews).
Also, I'm glad to see the Blue's Journey was bumped up a point, but still think it deserves 6 or 7 out of ten while ToeJam & Earl should only get 1.
Regardless, I'm glad you guys went to the 10 point system. Congrats. Keep up the good reviews. That's what counts anyway.
It'd be nice to see this site or VC Reviews do a run down of the VC/WW games that can get points in Club Nintendo. It'd also be cool to be able to filter games by region and Club Nintendo on the out now page.
@Bass X0, I have several VC controllers, but they either have wires or poorly laid out buttons. I think I'll try the one posted here that looked like a Classic Controller, but was wireless. Anyone else try it? If so, is it worth the import?
If all you have is a Wiimote then don't bother with this. It's a good game, but the Wiimote control is broken. Since they mapped fire to "A" you can't shoot up without contorting your hand or using both hands. It would have been better if they'd mapped fire to "B". Is there anyway to change controller mapping on VC titles?
This a great game with a bad control scheme. Any chance they would release an update to let you use a Nunchuck or Classic Controller? Has anyone contacted them requesting such an update? With disc based games you can return them if they are defective. This game's controls are definitely broken. How do I return it?
Will WiiWare-World or VC-Reviews have someone at E3? Is so, do you have any interviews lined up? I've been to E3 twice, but never got a chance to interview anyone important.
It's awesome that they went with the 8-bit style! I'm changing my avatar from the original Feel the Magic XY/XX orange colors to Mega Man blues because of this.
I think there is something at work here that I don't think anyone else has noticed. Obviously, if you delete games to download new ones you no longer see the deleted games in your channels. So, it's a case of out of sight, out of mind. Not seeing what was deleted may actually encourage people buy more games. If I could see the seventy or so games I've downloaded in my channels I might be less inclined to download something new. Does that make sense?
Please list the number of blocks required for new WiiWare and VC games. It'd be good to know how much I need to copy and delete before going to download new games. Thanks.
I wish Nintendo would extend it to at least the top 30. It will also be nice if the new channel allows us to see each others' rankings like on this site, but I fear it might only show recommendations.
I understand it being free only in the UK since UK taxes pay for the BBC, but in America I'd be willing to pay some points for the channel. Has that been discussed and/or ruled out?
I've never played this, but it looks unique for a top down vertical shooting scroller to me. I may not get it, but at least Square is giving NA a new game on Monday.
I downloaded and sent several gifts of SMB2LL. Now that it's out of the top 20 I image it's downloads have went down considerably. Any chance Nintendo will expand the list to the top 30 or 40? Didn't they say something about adding a rating system for games you've downloaded similar to what VC-Reviews has done? Also, what do you think are the chances they'll offer SMAS or SMAS+SMW later and offer discounts for people who have already purchase some or all of the games?
The vc-reviews video only shows one world. For screens of other worlds and a mini game check out http://www.rvgfanatic.com/6501/22801.html I'll be getting it as soon as possible.
You can get the PC version of Tower of Goo and seven other of Kyle Gabler's Experimental Gameplay Project games at Target with a T-shirt for $12.99 each. I wish I'd have taken a pictures of the shirts while I was in Target because I can't find them with Google or at Target.com.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
I'd love to play the GBC plus version of this game again. I wish Nintendo would have a downloadable GB/GBC virtual console for DSi.
Re: The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
Take out the word "possibly" and I'll completely agree with you.
Re: Nintendo: We Don't Want To Remake Past Zelda Games
I don't want a remakes, but updated games. For example:
And in the Mario universe:
Re: Review: "Aha! I Got It!" Escape Game (WiiWare)
I'll might get this because I like the genre, but I'd rather see such games on DSi.
Re: LIT European Localization Completed
Was the NA version also updated?

Video removed for terms of use violation.

Re: Little King's Story Creators Want A Sequel
This is great news. Little King's Story is my Wii GOTY so far.
Re: What Nintendo games do you want to see on the Virtual Console?
Next NintendoLife should do a "What Disney games do you want to see on the Virtual Console?" My pick would be Duck Tales!
Re: What Capcom games do you want to see on the Virtual Console?
DUCK TALES!!!
Seriously. Awesome game!
You guys should do a "What Disney games do you want to see on the Virtual Console?"

Re: Review: Sports Island (Wii)
What other titles come close to Nintendo's Wii Sports?
Re: Zelda: Spirit Tracks To Appeal To a Wider Age Group?
Hmm. Maybe this means it will have more of a focus on puzzles a la the Personal Training games. Train you Link in Minutes a Day. I'd play it.
Or maybe it could rekindle some NES/SNES Zelda vib of thirty-somethings like myself. Ditto.
Re: Nintendo Rejects Intellivision Lives for DSiWare
Does this rule out GB/GBC titles? I hope not. I'd love to play Links Awakening and SMB DX again.
Re: Creator of Henry Hatsworth Had A Big Day
Awesome game. I'll definitely consider his next creation.

Re: Hands On With SnakeByte's Wireless Retro Controller
I'd love to see WiiWare World or VC Reviews do a side by side comparison/review of all the currently available wireless classic controllers.
Re: Hori Announces New Classic Controller For Japan
If the digital pad was like the Wii/DS and was interchangeable with the left analog this would likely be the perfect "Classic" controller.

Re: World of Goo is Officially the Best Wii Game Ever
WoG and SMG are currently tied on MetaCritic with reviews scores of 97, but WoG is winning the user vote with 9.4 to 9.1.
Gamerankings has SMG winning, but if they included WiiWare-World.com's 100% for WoG the games would be nearly tied.
What does WiiWare-World.com have to do to be one of Game Rankings main sites?
Edit: Based on this news and how much I'm enjoying this game I'm upping the prize amount in my Mii contest to 1500 points. http://themushroomkingdom.net/board/index.php?topic=12165.0

You can beat it in about three hours, but collecting all the statues may take a little longer.

Re: Nintendo Power Poll - What Games Do You Want To See?
Do they still want us to vote? If so I'm voting for the following this time:
1. Duck Tales
2. Megaman 2
3.Mario & Wario
4. Kirby Super Star
5. Shadowgate
Re: Pokemon Puzzle League
The video clip above is only a small glipse of the modes this game has to offer.
Re: Top 20 'popular titles' on the Virtual Console - April 2008 (USA)

Re: Capcom To Lend Support To WiiWare

Update:
1. Duck Tales (NES)
2. Megaman 2 (NES)
3. Tetris Attack (SNES)
4. Mario & Wario (import)
5. Earthbound/Mother (import)
Re: Nintendo Power Poll - What Games Do You Want To See?
Duck Tales (NES)
Megaman 2 (NES)
Starfy (any import)
Tetris Attack (SNES)
Mario & Wario (import)
