Goo Gone Wild!

It's time to take a look at the most popular WiiWare titles available on the Wii Shop Channel. If you're feeling adventurous you can even take a look for yourself by simply logging on to your Wii Shop Channel, heading into the WiiWare section and then viewing "Popular Games". It's that easy!

We compile this list using the USA region Wii Shop channel, so if you live elsewhere your list will probably be quite a bit different. Please feel free to post your region's findings below as always.

Keep in mind that the list below is a measure of actual sales made recently, not of the total time the game has been available for sale.

Here is the list for the 22nd of April:

* (N) - Denotes a new entry on the Top 20

It's a complete shock, we know, but the "Big Three" once again remain intact. Goo, fish, and falling blocks reign supreme on the WiiWare service. While My Pokemon Ranch threatened, it hasn't been able to move up past the 4th spot and doesn't look like it's going to at this point.

The big climbers this week were Equilibrio and Bomberman Blast, both of which jumped up four spots to #10 and #16 respectively. Now that Equilibrio has cracked the Top 10, it will be interesting to see how high it can climb. The big dropper this week was Bonsai Barber, which fell five spots to #18. It seems this plant-trimming title might be on its way off the charts soon after an impressive debut last week at #13.

There were no new entries this week and while the Top 20 had a few shifts in position here and there, the games on the Top 20 remain the same from last week. One interesting title to keep an eye on is Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King, as it's still moving its way back up the chart again. Perhaps it will be helped out with the recent release of Square-Enix' Crystal Defenders R1 this week, which also might make an appearance on next week's Top 20.
