RE4 was one of my favourite games on Wii. The pointer controls were great and I got hooked on Wii shooters. If they had added pointer controls to Revelations I would have bought it day one. As it is, if they don't add pointer controls to Resident Evil Revelations 2 it's a non starter. I hate aiming with the thumb stick.

I was ready to buy this game last March, April when they were teasing it as 'coming soon'. Now it's going up against my dollars for Batman, AC IV, Watch Dogs, Mario etc. IF i pick this up, it will likely be in a discount bin a year from now, or at the best after Christmas. Kinda annoyed actually, that it took them so long to get this out. Looks awesome though.

I've played most of them on PC, I think I would much rather play on the Wii U game pad than with a keyboard

There are at least 2 green warp pipes in NFS MW U, one by the bridge construction, one in the airplane graveyard. Tunnels take you to the same places though.

More of a good things is a good thing

This is the best NFS title I have played on a Nintendo since the last Most Wanted. I've played enough of Criterion's 'Burnout: Paradise' to say that these two titles compare very closely, but with licensed cars. Any fan of the show Top Gear (BBC) will know all of these cars. It's hours of fun.

I only started playing shooters when the wii started letting me point the remote instead of aiming with my thumbs. If there is no pointer support I probably won't buy one just like I didn't buy an Xbox.

Colour me annoyed. I have 200 points left to do something with, and likely I will never be able to spend those on the eshop either. I'm not entirely impressed that they need a separate Wii menu on the Wii U either, the duplication seems silly, why can't we just have everything on one menu?

If they wanted to revive games like 'four swords', could be a way of introducing gamecube games to the eshop perhaps...

Mine stopped working about 5 minutes into the update, shut down and the power led started blinking red. Unplugged it, plugged it back in and got the blue led with no picture and no connection to the gamepad. Called Nintendo, have to send it in.

On my Christmas list

I'm sure it has less to do with the game and more to do with the whole 'casual gamer' phenom that has been filling homes with Super Mario and Party games. The big 'N' is simply getting a taste of what developers like EA, Sega et al. have been complaining about, that people who buy a Wii don't go in for adult or even teenage titles. I'm surprised that they're surprised. They should do a study to see how many people who buy a Wii even use it, how many Wii Fit boards are collecting dust under the couch?
