Re: Mailbox: Ninty Getting Its Freak On, Area Codes, The 'Discourse' - Nintendo Life Letters

I'm a fairly new regular reader of NL. I used to pop by every so often but I hadn't had much engagement with my Switch for a while, and Switch 2 brought me back.

So I hadn't really noticed a "we" to "I" change in the reviews. But I prefer this. I like the personal touch, and I've never totally liked the "we" in games reviews because each is a review of one person.

Anyway, I'm enjoying my return to Nintendo (just started DK today) and reading NL. Keep up the good work.

I really want markers to find P missions and Peach medallions. I quite enjoy finding the ? panels to drive over as they're on the tracks somewhere so cover a smaller area.

Other than that, changing character select (as others have mentioned) to click a character and then see their costumes.

I can't see a mode to design your own knockout as the parts of each track used and the path connecting them are very laid out and that would be a huge undertaking for Nintendo to have it so routes are clearly shown based on your selections.

Re: Poll: How Many Hours Have You Spent In Mario Kart World So Far?

The Nintendo app says 33 hours. When it's good this game is very good. I am enjoying free roam (still wish there was some sort of map for the peach coins and blue P missions).

And I enjoy races. I've never been big into online, so haven't done much. But I am certain there are more blue shells than in MK8. And I am getting VERY frustrated with 150cc knockout as the start of each race is chaos and I find it ridiculously difficult to be 1st at the first checkpoint. I'm not convinced having 24 racers at once was really the best idea. It makes the starts if races TOO chaotic. MK has always been chaos but it feels too far for me.

I am still enjoying it though and will play lots more, especially over years to come hopefully.
