@VoiceOfReason Only people who wanted it to fail because they knew that we'll be getting more of the games they want now, and many exclusively because their systems don't have enough features to compete.
Which leads me to the real reason the 3DS is doing so much better now. It's all behind the scenes stuff that attracted more devs for the system, as well as the tech features of the system, some of which even the Wii cannot compensate for.
@Alshain01 Erm, yah know what? Nu-uh. When a style increases in popularity a lot, there will be a flood of bad versions of that style, that's just what happens when there's a flood. Doesn't change the popularity.
Odd thing, I actually dreamed of Pokemon battles in 3D a long time ago, while I was playing Platinum, actually. I so can't wait for this, best game ever.
@Andross No, it does not, that's called confirmation bias. The screen's size is tiny, it will always look scrunched, compacted, because of that simple fact. You can't put a large image in a smaller screen, physics has told us this much.
This review has only one complaint that doesn't sound subjective, the glitch. Now, I hope they do fix the glitch, but the "compacted graphics" is a necessity for any game on any handheld device. The trade off for this is that you can play it anywhere. Considering the size of screen, Zen Studios' pinball games are beautiful on the 3DS, but then, to me everything looks better on the 3DS XL screen than even on an HD television, or my HD computer monitor. As I said, subjective.
I love Bookstore Dream, though I wish there was more to it. What it does have I like, the simplicity of it makes the game a great way to pass time when you literally have nothing better to do. The graphics are pleasing and isometric, very soft. It does well in simulation, as time passed through the game day, traffic outside your door changes, thus the number of potential customers during specific times of the day are what you'd expect.
The flaw is how little there is in the game though, which means after a short time you will run out of things to do.
@AutumnShantel I believe they are referring to the game, specifically, the widespread use of 3D models in this game and the redesigned wifi system make it almost a completely new game in the series.
I love the bank idea and I could wait another month, two, or three, no problem. As long as it's not such a long time that I forget it exists, it's all good.
@Peach64 Movies are dropping it only because most people can't afford to see the Real3D ones in theaters. TVs are not "dropping" it, but simply giving up on the failed technology they have for it thus far, because it's not popular. The 3DS is a completely different story.
@Kifa The problem is, the games graphics shown thus far for the world map is a far cry from many other games that do use the stereoscopic effect. As I stated before, this sounds like nothing more than an excuse.
I hope this is the result of nothing more than thin resources, considering the time and money needed for the pokemon models themselves, that would be a decent excuse. But the "we wanted more beauty" excuse is just an excuse. Well done graphics are enhanced by the stereoscopic effect for those of us who like it, not hurt by it, and the switching between 2D and 3D will make the game less appealing during play.
If they keep teasing me like this, I'll probably die of a heart attack before Oct. 12th .... and that would suck.
Also, a Pokemon TCG would be awesome! As long as it's not just a remake but a whole new game, and includes wifi battles. AI opponents are always too predictable.

@bezerker99 Streetpass is the only reason I'd consider setting foot in a McDonald's.

@coren Exactly.
Re: 3DS Reigns in the U.S. for Another Month as Pikmin 3 Sneaks Into the Top 10
@Boukman I can't wait for the next one. Until now, Pokemon was the only thing I ever pre-ordered, but the next Fire Emblem I will pre-order as well.
Nintendo has always been awesome, but the 3DS just makes it perfect, IMO. It's everything I ever wanted in a game system of any type.
