I want to like this, but as the last picture shows, they keep messing up the top side on the special editions. Unless Samus has gained the "Captain Viridian"-like ability to flip gravity and walk along the ceiling, it's upside down yet again.
I think the only time I've seen them get this right is with the faceplates and that one time with the Link Between Worlds special 3DS XL. :\
@TingelTangel Frankly, I'm not as concerned with new features (although trading would be nice) as them putting back things like tracking.
I've had more than one occasion where an Aerodactyl popped up on the Sightings, but with no clue where to go in a 200m radius, I spent about 20 frustrating minutes walking around to no avail.
I kind of like the idea of the "beast that devours the sun" being weak to Fire-type moves.
I'm not sure whether Lunala's 4x weakness to Dark-type moves is ingenious (as it would call the moon to banish the darkness) or ironic (because the moon is usually associated with either night when it's dark, or eclipses where it obstructs sunlight).
Some of the English mon names seem natural and downright clever (Beedrill, Girafarig, Seviper, Toxicroak, Stunfisk, and Clawitzer), while others seem less descriptive or interesting (Gyarados, Sudowoodo, Huntail, Bibarel, Emolga, and Throh).
Still more hits than misses, but I still would have liked Gyarados to have retained its beta name, which is why the first Magikarp I catch in every game is nicknamed Skulkraken.
I guess my question then is: Why wouldn't they print the words so that they would be right-side up when the system was? It seems like a mistake that could have easily been fixed.
Looking at the backside, I've never known anyone to play a new 3DS with the card slot, headphone jack and stylus facing up. Wouldn't that mean that the touchscreen would be the top screen?
Have I been playing the 3DS wrong all this time, or is the entire backside printed upside down?
I intend to buy the black New Nintendo 3DS when it reaches North America.
The New 3DS seems like an upgrade, sure, but it is not a necessary one yet. And since it isn't necessary, I haven't felt the need to get the entirely too bulky nN3DSXL or the white-shelled nN3DS when I prefer the aesthetic of the black system.
I don't see the new 3DS as essential to my gaming experience, so I'll gladly wait to buy one until NoA decides they want to release the black small 3DS. ...or given recent trends, I might opt for the EU version if more games I want keep coming out there sooner.
I remember actually finding Radiant Historia when it came out was fairly difficult, but I did enjoy it and will pick it up again if it ever shows up on VC.
If there's ever a sequel, I'll be on board for that as well.

I suggest that if you're of a mind to replace every single track with the DK Rap, you have already parted ways with your sanity.

Re: Upcoming Tetris Movie is Confirmed to be the First in a Trilogy
I now want a fourth movie, that, when it ends, retcons the entire franchise out of existence. A line piece that will clear all four films.
