Will we have to buy Mario Maker to play fan created levels? Will there be a rating system so that the most interesting levels will be sorted through the endless terrible levels?
I have bought several games after watching "Let's Plays" and love watching guys like Pat the NES Punk, AVGN and Game Grumps on Youtube. I definitely have never passed on purchasing a title that I was interested in because I saw the game on Youtube. It just made me want to buy it more. If it matters, I'm 30+ now.
Yoshi's Island (SNES) had one of the best soundtracks ever made. What the hell was the production staff thinking making this terrible, terrible music for this game? It genuinely affected the experience negatively for me.
I really enjoyed this game on my DS. I agree that the concept wasn't fully realized, but this game feels far fresher than the butchered Yoshi's Island DS. I think lots of valid points were made in the review - especially the steep $10 price point. Despite its flaws, I found this game to be quite fun. I give it 7/10.
I imagine impulsive kids could throw money at this game, but I haven't felt the microtransactions are very intrusive to the experience for me. To be honest through, forcing to put the game down until tomorrow or whenever has kept me coming back to an otherwise pretty standard puzzle game.
This is the reason region locking is bad for Nintendo. I am a huge Dragon Quest nerd, but I won't shell out for a Japanese 3DS to get one game... Why pass on sales from the niche US based audience? Hopefully this will appear as DLC at least.

Absolutely not a FPS fan, but this game looks like a lot of fun. If Nintendo does the online component properly, I'll scoop this up right away.

I always liked Lemmy as a character, but raced as DK + Cyber Slick. It's such a good combo. 200cc sounds super exciting
