These guys sound like a bunch of goofs. I experienced the "game" when it first came out and honestly couldn't care less about this one way or the other. The only FMV type game that I want to see remastered would be Phantasmagoria.
I got mine in 1989 as well. My mom and dad had put them on layaway at a Fred Meyers in Anchorage Alaska. We were rolling cross country to move down here to Florida. I'll never forget going with them to pick it up. Tetris and Super Mario Land were my starters as well. Those were the days.....
I bought this, then I punched myself in the nose for doing it. Even my 6 year old daughter thought it was horrible. I was hoping for any kind of resemblance to Dino Park Tycoon but this is just horrendous and makes Farmville look like a AAA heavyweight game in comparison. A 3/10 solely on the facts that the game doesnt immediately crash while playing and because the title of the game is spelt correctly.
Did I seriously read that some think they should be paid for taking Club Nintendo surveys?! Wow! I think Im a little disappointed at the options but certainly nothing to be raging over. For the people that own the games already, I think thats a very legitimate problem/concern.
Also in my mind this does qualify as being exclusive. We are the only ones that get this for free. We dont have to spend coins or real dollars. Its restricted to elite members only.
@SCAR392 I think people stating opinions as fact is what's wrong with the gaming community. Plus I think most of these comments are being said jokingly as we all know the 3rd party situation for the Wii U.
"Not only is Unreal Engine 4 powerful and easy to use, but it allows us to immediately bring Tekken 7 to any platform we desire." Even though I have no hope for this coming to the Wii U, statements like this drive me insane. If they don't want to bring it to the Wii U then fine, but why go out and say something like that. This is all assuming there are no plans for it to come of course. Im probably reading too much into it though.
@xj0462 Seems like it iirc. Admittedly I've only watched a couple of his vids as I don't find him all that funny. I did however like the Ninja Gaiden episode.
@Nintenjoe64 It really is though. Do you have a favorite track? My favorite is The Island of Everlasting Summer. It starts on round 2 of the game I believe.
Yikes! Lol. Clearly Nintendo's issues are deep rooted in their cafeterias quality. Also it sounds like Iwata and Miyamoto will be cast to star in Jumunji 2.
We know very little other than some screens and a brief description of the type of game and yet people are shooting this down already. Did I seriously read in the comments that xbox1 had a great showing because 70% of the games shown were violent?? That's what's wrong in gaming as well as the whole Nintendo needs stronger hardware. We have Bayonetta and Devils Third coming that are violent if that's your thing. They look great and thankfully we dont have a saturation of the genre on the Wii U. If all you're interested in is violence, fps, and sand box games then go get the other systems. That's not what Nintendo does nor has it ever done.
As far as Nintendo changing peoples impression of them and their products, its not that simple obviously. With that being said I've seen tons of Nintendo bashers change their tune the last couple of days. Some say they want Nintendo to just unveil a new franchise that's gonna be as big as Mario, Zelda, pokemon etc. How is anybody supposed to know that a franchise is just gonna blow up like that. Those franchises are a staple in society because of how long they've been around and/or the immediate impact they had after the video game crash. Nobody had seen anything like them before and to expect that same kind of impact from anything(especially overnight) is foolish.
I for one, am very excited for this. I can't understand people getting upset that this wasn't MM3D. I will always take a new ip over a remake/hd upgrade. We've already got/will get 3ds Zelda OOT3d Zelda ALBW
Wii U Zelda Wind Waker Hd Hyrule Warriors Zelda U Plus all the Zelda games on the virtual console. Showing Majoras Mask over this would've been a huge let down and a waste imo.
Just got done with all my races. It took roughly two hours with no disconnects. Thanks for all the great races everyone. Currently sitting 5th with 286 but I'm sure that will change within the hour.
Sad to see. Hopefully those losing their jobs can transition somewhere quickly. My thoughts go out to those employees and their families who are affected.
That "Mario Maker" text just doesn't look right. The Ma in Mario isn't even on line with the Ma in Maker. Look close at that first m and a, then compare it with the other. Who knows, I haven't had my coffee yet.
I'm gonna get in on this for sure. Had some great races in the weekend tournament. Still gotta figure out that leaderboard though. It reset our scores after 1030 points.
It really doesn't bother me one way or the other. Product placement has been common in games for as long as I can remember all the way back to the Nes. As long as its not one big a** commercial I'm cool with it. This is the same company that had its own cereal for crying out loud.. Either way, it looks like we could be getting some more dlc, which I'm also cool with.
If this comes to NA I will make the purchase. Sadly for one reason or another, I've never played a game in this franchise, despite all the good things I've heard about it.
@River3636 I'm not paying 200 bones for it either lol. Also, if I came across as taking shots at you or being condescending, then I apologize. That wasn't my intent.
@River3636 I was a hardcore collector for years. Rarity is subjective, outside of the games we know that had limited prints, were store exclusives, etc. Overall I'd label this game as uncommon. It can be pricey but with over 50 copies on ebay alone at any given time, I have a hard time calling it rare. Collecting has become insane. Some think price=rarity. Example: Earthbound. The game is simply uncommon, not rare, but it fetches crazy money.
Certainly don't think the music and graphics are bad at all but to each his/her own. Personally, I still find myself humming the music 20+ years later. It does have some difficult puzzles but nothing too crazy. The real challenge is in Lolo 3. That game can get nuts!!! However, it's also my favorite.

Re: One Classic Mega Man Game Is Coming to Wii U Every Week in August
@Xilef I can only find it listed as Q4 2014. I'm not sure if that's just a generic placeholder until an actual date is announced or not.
I enjoyed Mega Man Legends a lot so I'd love to see the Mega Man 64 port get released eventually.
