Only Pokemon games I’ve enjoyed have been Y and now ZA. Very strange that ZA is ranked last. All these games come down to is personal preference

Got it on my V1 Switch thinking I would bounce right off. 12 hours of game later, I bought the full Switch 2 version, willing to play the tutorial again. Haven’t clicked with Pokemon since Y. Also I love the art style? Writing is pretty good. Music is incredible, I actually don’t mind it being stuck in my head so far lol. And the one location is so condensed, I love that too. Battling is the same, just immediate and snappy. Exactly what I’ve wanted in a Pokemon. Not the biggest fan of random encounters and slow battles. Great mix of action and strategy. Online battles are a huge draw to me. It’s a matter of preference. 8.5/10 for me so far

It’s gotta he Hades II for me. Can’t stop playing it. Greek mythology is my favorite, and the way they respect and build upon it is incredible. I get so excited when I see their new take on such ancient characters. The story, gameplay, art, music is better than the first imo, and I played the crap out of that one, too. I’m loving Silksong as well, but I’m surprised how much more I’ve been playing and enjoying Hades II. What a MONTH. 2 GOATS of the indie world

I was hoping for some Switch 2 Upgrades 😭 happy with HD-2D though! Cronos looks sick, too. I just really wish I could play the games I have taking advantage of the new tech!

Lovely article. This is the first time I’ve gotten any console at launch. It’s been a joy, like being a kid on Christmas. I don’t understand all the hate for it. I don’t feel ripped off lol. Finally beat TOTK. Restarted BOTW on master mode. Playing my backlog and realizing I bounced off so many games because it felt half baked on switch 1; still wonderful, but not ideal.

Don’t have a switch 2 yet, but this game makes me want one a lot more

If I could afford it, I’d definitely be upgrading, but for the next few years my Switch 1 will be more than enough for me. So excited for the 5th for everyone though!!

Yeah I owned this day one and have had a great experience the whole time. Maybe saw one glitch in probably 25 hours. Loved it as a kid, and I love it now.

Dark Moon was the first 3DS game I bought in 2013. I’ve played it multiple times. Haven’t finished the other two, so Dark Moon is easily my favorite. Not knowing anything else, I liked the mission structure. That being said, I am not paying full price for this. It looks amazing with 3D slider all the way up on my IPS 3DS.

Couldn’t believe my eyes today!! The first is one of my favorites of all time. I never hoped they’d do a sequel despite the first being such a solid gem. The Steam Powered Giraffe soundtrack has such a special place on my heart. Can’t wait.

I got stuck in Hollow Knight and stopped playing for a few months. When I picked it up again I had to use physical notes to make it to the end. I absolutely loved this. When I fully committed to it like this, the game truly clicked for me.
