Pretty bold of them to release a demo like that. It had the opposite effect that a demo should — it turned me completely off from buying the game. Even if they manage a patch that fixes lag/performance issues, by the time it arrives I'll likely have lost interest. Wish devs would delay games instead of promising to fix them later.
"Update: Early access to Shang Tsung does not include the Switch version." As some posters have already confirmed, this does not appear to be the case! Any other patch notes for v1.0.6?
@Spiders I should have made it clearer that I was addressing your complaint specifically about the NES Online button mapping defaults being the way they were. But I certainly agree that options there (and in Castlevania) would be nice and easy for them to do.
@Spiders I'm sure the rationale is to avoid being confusing as all heck. If the default were like you suggested, any game that tells you to "press B" would need you to actually press Y, while doing what the game suggests would actually be a press of the A button. Still should have emulator options for remapping, but by default I understand their choice and using X/A didn't take me long to get used to.
RE: Revelations for Switch featured gyro and it worked very well. RE4 is the same type of game. I'll probably not buy it unless they patch gyro in (or they put it on a very deep sale). I have enough versions of this game (GC, Wii, PS4), and all physically at that!
@Tempestryke I'm guessing you're not an MK fan, huh? You use currency for unlockables. They're in the krypt, which they've done in each game since Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance 17 years ago.
Article title: Can't complete game without manual!!! Article text: Use this easily to google code so you don't need a manual after all. Kinda silly hyperbole, here. PS: I'll bet one American dollar there'll be an SP version soon to solve this issue, and all they'd have to do fix it is the subtitle the SP "StarTropics: Code is 747" or something just as simple.
The Switch version runs poorly in hectic situations (which happens often). Did the reviewer even play this port? I'm guessing not, as the performance struggles on both handheld and docked are obvious and noteworthy.

The recent patch actually did the reverse on Towers of Time. It was fun and a bit on the easy side, now it's frustrating even with konsumables.

Re: Awesome: Meet The Ultimate Nintendo Switch Game Collector
@Farts_Ahoy That game doesn't come on a cartridge though, just a case with a download code inside.
