What confuses me: I own a PAL version of that game with German text on the box. So clearly European. Part of the description on the back of the box also says „English version with German subtitles“ (written in German). But it has the North American art according to this article. Does anyone know why this is?
Maybe it’s an unknown character from this new Ninty game (or long-forgotten, but now revived franchise) that gets a surprise announcement/trailer alongside the fighter reveal. Or, like, some Pikmin related character while Sakurai tells us thatPikmin 4 will be available on the eShop later today. Dreams 🙂
As someone who has spent the last months hunting down Wii games on ebay, this will be an interesting watch. Maybe I’ll discover some more hidden or forgotten gems that I need to add to my list. I love the Wii, it has such an amazing library of games! 🙂
@Snatcher No kidding! After having read the first paragraph I was laughing out loud due to the author’s imagination. Having read the whole review I am now on the fence of buying a game I had no particular interest in before 😀
I thought it was a brilliant game until I reached the end. I enjoyed it immensely, but actually never finished it because of the difficulty of the final boss battle. Everything else that came before I managed fairly well, but I never made it past that very last fight.
@ImagineerNik I fully understand you. Having to spend so much time at home due to the Covid situation, I spent a lot of time on ebay to add to my GC, Wii and Wii U games collections. And also played them, of course!
I own a Legend of Zelda themed Wii U and it still stands proudly on my media center and is connected to the TV. I love this machine... it has a small but great library of games, plus it also plays all the Wii titles, too!
Pre-Covid my wife and I regularly had friends over for local Nintendo multiplayer parties, and besides the usual Smash and Mario Kart battles on the Switch, there was always an hour that we spent playing Mario Chase (from Nintendo Land) with five players. Looking forward to a time when this is possible again!
My favorite Wii U games might be Breath of the Wild, Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart 8, Smash and Super Mario Maker. Favorite 3rd party game maybe Deus Ex.
But I also had a great time playing Yoshi‘s Woolly World with my 5 year old, and I love Captain Toad, and Shovel Knight and Fast Racing Neo were also fantastic... boy, so many great memories, I could go on and on

I suggest to shadow drop the Switch 2 on any regular Tuesday.

Re: F-Zero Isn't Dead - It's Just Sleeping, Says Nintendo Legend Takaya Imamura
I may sound ignorant, but what was that grand new idea in Splatoon 3 again?
