I've played the japanese version. It plays exactly like contra 3, so if you like that version, you will LOVE this new one.

Ren is right BBD was really cheesy, played it for about 5 mins and promptly deleted it. I've played the Japanese Arkanoid Plus! version for many hours and I love it.

I agree about the steering too, it takes one play through all the tracks to get the feel of drifting down. After that the game is tons of fun and you stand a chance of winning!

This game is pretty fun so far. I haven't had a chance to play it in multiplayer mode yet and that is where the real fun is supposed to be. The only thing I think that would make it better would be getting money for upgrades. As it is there are no upgrades, but you do choose your type of car based on weight so that adds some strategy to the game.

Time to put some emulators on your wiis guys. But personally I enjoy WiiWare games more myself.

This looks like it could be good. Reminds me of Legacy of the Wizard for NES. I always liked that game, even though it pissed me off a lot. This game is in dire need of graphics/audio update though. Hope they do that before it is released.

I've been playing the game non-stop since it came out. I love it so much. I just made it to chapter 4 and am getting my ass kicked all over the place. If someone could design a perfect game just for me, this would be it. RPG, Tower Defense, Strategy. Great game!

For what its worth, the art was the only redeeming quality of the game.

I've played it for about 20 mins so far and i'm pretty unimpressed. Granted that could be too short of a time to "get it".

I was excited when i first saw that picture. Would be nice to have advance wars on wiiware. I'm pretty sure they are just using those tanks cause they needed some kind of picture to entice us with. Hopefully all that money they made from Pong Toss will be put to use making a good game.

Yep, I think it looks like an adult swim cartoon too. I really dig the visual style, can't wait to give it a spin and see how it plays.

I agree with what most people are saying, $37 is too much. Although you could pay $16 and get the full story without the sidequests, it is still not enough hours to really be worth your $$$. I think a fair price would be $25 for all content. But if you loved FF4, just bite the bullet and buy it. You will love it. If you never played FF4 before, don't buy it.

So far each part is about 5-6 hrs in length. Finished first part of main story and rydia's tale, working on yang's tale atm.

This is a fantastic game. You can't go wrong buying it. On a tangent thought, whatever happened to cave story?

FF4AY is much more enjoyable if you have played the first one. I'm about five hours in and having a blast! I love me some retro games.

Cool if its going to require wiimotion plus you can count on being able to swing links sword 1:1 instead of waggle!

Never completely finished the first one. I liked it too, dunno why i stopped. Time to dust it off and finish it. Can't wait for the sequel!

The wii has been hacked to allow backup games for years now. It got hacked up to play burnt discs in less than a year on market. This just a way to easily store and play them. People will always find a way to make things easier, because they like the challenge, others like the flexibility.

I've been playing this game for a few days now and it's great! My interest hasn't been held this much by a game in a long time. Only thing that would make it better would be online battles. Oh well, maybe the sequel will have it!

Wow this is a direct copy of Advance Wars... would rather have that instead.
