Nintendo really needs to step their game up in many departments. I know this is a Nintendo fan site with tons of blinded fanboys who will damage control till their last breath. Firstly the online... I want real voice chat, messages, game invites, free game giveaways like Xbox, PS, and epic game store does.
Also the console itself needs to be way more powerful so developers can make their games on it. At the moment it’s holding on by a thread with all of the sacrifices to all 3rd party games 720p or less and 30 frames per second games.. and don’t forget about the delays on games because devs need more time to make the game run acceptable..
With the new Xbox and ps5 close to release and the power gap growing further it’s a matter of time before 3rd parties quit release as many games.. and don’t forget AMD and Nvidia are releasing high end GPUs this year as well..
Anyways, if this is true it’s bad news for many fans because “we want more power” 1080p 60fpa minimum. It’s 2020 and 1080p gaming started over 10 years ago.. this is unacceptable.
I’ve been wanting to play this game forever, but I’m not sure what console to get it for. I have a 4K TV and all of the switch games look so blurry when played on 4K TVs. I went out and bought a 1080p/1440p gaming monitor along with the Mclassic and now my games look pretty on switch. The question is should I Get it for switch? BTW I set my switch to 720p and the mclassic upscales to 1440p on my monitor
@AG_Awesome OLED screens aren’t really good for gaming. I have an LG OLED 4K that I used for mostly gaming, and the screen started messing up after about 6 months.
One day games are going to be completely mobile dominate, with consoles holding on by threads. This is a gaming world I would ever want to be in, and it’s the day I quit gaming. Mobile gaming has been on the rise with literally everyone having a phone it’s a big money making market. I give it 10 years tops before this happens
@Swoltacular you can blame 3rd party games coming late or never on Nintendo, not on the developers. Nintendo could’ve choose stronger hardware with a $349 usd price tag but chose an already outdated, and weak tegra x1. This makes it where developers have to work way longer, and harder just to get it optimized enough to work on the switch.. this is another reason why is as switch users get bad ports with performance issues all the time.
I’ve had a drift on one pair for over a year now. It was my launch set I believe. It’s crazy because i haven’t used them much. I don’t use handheld ever, and I use the pro controller.
This is basically the same as the regular power A controllers already out.
Pros: super lightweight, two remapping buttons, price, d-pad.
Cons: no rumble, drains battery super fast(motion in this one will make it worse), analog sticks wear out, get chalky, scratchy. Analog sticks wear like old n64 controllers did, but not as bad.
Unless they fixed the battery issues you will need rechargeable batteries. My biggest issue is the analog stick problem and they need to fix this. I am skipping this since I have 4 of them and two are broken and all have the messed up analog sticks
The damage control is real on here I see. Nintendo doesn’t get it, they stopped getting it 23 years ago. When they released the first console that had better GPU than PC (Voodoo) I’m confused how people keep defending their choices on hardware specs, it’s beyond me 😂 The Tegra x1 was released 4 years ago, it was underwhelming then for a console and released 4 years after Xbox one and PS4 launch. Basically we have outdated hardware that is 8+ years behind at the moment. I’m tired of everyone blaming developers when the console is the problem here.

Re: Rumour: Nvidia's New Tegra X1+ Chip Could Make Switch Performance "Up To 25% Faster"
@AG_Awesome I feel ya. QLED type screen may be better because of screen burn in on OLED. Plus Qled produces similar results with no screen burn in.

I will skip this game. Show them they’re messing up big time and not support it.
Re: PSA: Make Sure You're Buying The Right Mega Drive Mini This Holiday Season
So there’s two versions? I didn’t know about this. I didn’t get the old one because of reviews, but if this ones good I may grab it.
Re: Kickstarter Cancelled For Vertebreaker, The Retro Platformer From Sonic Mania Devs
Hopefully this game still comes to switch. It looks really good, and I love old school kind of games. That goal was really high for a port though
