Switch is my first Nintendo console since the GameCube, and I've been hoping for a game to fill the multiplayer shooter void for on-the-go gaming. After having a blast playing Splatoon for the first time (multiple sessions), I'm hopeful it will be a fantastic option and that third parties will follow suit in releasing their own games on the platform.
I bought overwatch on pc and loved it, but I passed on the Xbox port because I got so used to playing it with keyboard/mouse. I would, however, buy it on Switch for the portability.
I normally don't like motion controls, but in reading this article (and all the posts), I can't help but wonder if motion controls would be just as accurate/responsive as keyboard and mouse for a shooter... and end up being a preferred method that gave its adherents a slight advantage... I've not played splatoon, so no experience in that arena... thoughts, anyone?
@FragRed Just listened to that NVC episode today, and I immediately thought of Axiom Verge. I've been hyped to buy/play that game, but I've been holding out in hopes it would come to the switch. Fingers crossed. And cramped from playing Zelda.

@Jeronan Good thoughts on Splatoon.
