I'm glad to see the focus go away. The whole QOL thing seemed to be a knee-jerk announcement after the poor Wii U sales a few months ago. It looks dumb.
Honestly I have begun to really despise the emphasis on Mega Evolution. When Diancie came out, there was no focus on the new Pokemon, just its suped-up Mega Evolution. The same goes for Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, and likely Hoopa and Volcanion. I want the focus to be on the new Pokemon first and on Mega Evolution second.
@MajinSoul I agree. If this was a feature in Brawl and Melee before it, there was no reason for tourneys not to be in Smash Wii U- really it should have been a Day 1 feature.
Where to begin...? I think what annoyed me was the fact that Nintendo's conference was only half as long as the conferences Microsoft and Sony made. But despite this, Nintendo used the time they had to fill it in with long talks with developers. Last year's E3 already had a huge blurb about Yoshi and it was really tedious to hear about it again.
I wasn't expecting to see a plethora of new IPs or games, but what annoys me with these conferences is when games make reappearances at consecutive E3s and they are focused on more than the new titles. For example, the New Mario and Luigi game had minimal screen time whereas Woolly World and Super Mario Maker had absurdly long segments. They should have spent more time on the new stuff- I forgot about the new Metroid game because of how briefly it was shown.
It just annoys me to think that the Smash Direct and the announcement of Earthbound Beginnings still has me far more excited than just about everything they announced. I will be awaiting another regular Nintendo Direct this fall.
Look. All we need is an import of all of the Wii VC games onto the Wii U VC. I understand it isn't a simple copy-paste, but the fact that we don't have anywhere near what the freaking Wii has/had 6 years ago is extremely underwhelming.
Why would he try and make them the same? A 'novice' character? Really? Why would I ever play as her now? And you made her seperate because of this little detail, so why isn't Mewtwo in with Lucario? That's so unbelievably stupid Sakurai.
@FlaygletheBagel No one had been praising it for that. Toon Link plays completely differently than Link. Not a clone.
I literally spent an two hours grinding the day before the cutoff to be a Platinum member, and I am really bummed out. I loved the Majora's Mask Spundtrack last year, and I feel like the choices are worse than the free game with Mario Kart 8. Very upset. I'll probably take DKCR3D and give it to my friend as an incentive to buy a 3DS because I already own it and only go for physical retail games.

I am for the piracy while the stock issues are still high, and if Nintendo continues to not release and restock older amiibo.
However, if they remedy it, then people need to buy the darn things. But not until this stock problem works itself out.
