I almost exclusively use my Hori Split Pad Compact even though they're missing some key features, because these days I don't really play anything with gyro and NFC anyway. I also own a pair of NYXI Wizards (the Wavebird-style joycons), but I only occasionally use them in TV mode, because I don't like the weird angle they give to the screen in portable mode.
Overall I would say that I like what NYXI is doing here, but if I was shopping for a new joycon alternative (which I'm not), I think I would go with their Hyperion Pro for the real D-Pad and lower price.

I played through and enjoyed the Mars sequel on PC last year, but I haven't played the first game. It reminded me a lot of the more recent Tomb Raider trilogy with the climbing, platforming and puzzles, but with no combat. The story was pretty interesting too. I'll play the first one at some point, but probably not on Switch.
Sweet, since 5 and 6 were digital only, the 3DS entries are the only gap in my physical collection (I have 1-4 + Miles Edgeworth on DS & GAA Chronicles on Switch).
I kinda regret getting PW vs Layton digitally back in the day as it is now pretty expensive, and I doubt it'll get a modern rerelease anytime soon (a Miles Edgeworth collection would make more sense at this point). Might get a Japanese copy instead for my shelf since they're pretty cheap.
Great news! Two years ago I needed cash and there were rumors P3P would be ported to Switch, so I sold my PSP copy (I also own FES PS2 and digital P3P). I was disappointed when it turned out that P3P and P4G were digital only on Switch and I ended up not buying them, but I was hoping this would change, and now here we are!
@kennykenny Yeah that's how this works, there is gonna be in window between October 27th and November 12th where you can order both at the same time.
Man, so much hate for the SNES ones. I was a JP nerd and a SNES kid, but I used to be jealous about the Genesis version compared to the one we got on SNES. More approachable overall, more action, ability to play as a raptor or Grant, more eye candy, etc. As time passed however, I gave the SNES title a chance and started appreciating it more. Its biggest issues are its lack of guidance to new players and the fact that you can't save your game. However, I think the game gets better the more you restart it. You learn to avoid certain areas of the open world and fights until you're better equipped, and the experience becomes more rewarding. I'm happy these Ocean titles will be given their time to shine. With savepoints and the rewind feature, this collection will make them a lot more approachable. It will also give me a chance to check out Part 2 and the other consoles' versions, which I've never played. I really wish the Genesis ones were also included, but they're from a completely different studio so that's probably why. Maybe later? On a sidenote, I picked up the PS1 Lost World last year and it's honestly pretty bad compared to the ones on 16-bit consoles. Looks nice, but it controls terribly and every dinosaur feels underpowered because of it IMO. I'm fine with it not being included in there.
I remember that my interest was pretty low, having almost dropped off from consoles at this point and thinking that this was some kind of inferior gimmicky spin-off while Nintendo were working on the "real" successor to Mario 64. A year or two after its release, I borrowed a friend's Gamecube to play other stuff, but decided to give Sunshine a shot anyway. That's when I realized that it was actually a genuine, fun and awesome Mario game, and it ended up being the one I spent the most time on while I had my friend's GC. So, in short, I was proven wrong. FLUDD provided fun non-gimmicky gameplay after all, and Mario Sunshine was a true, worthy next-gen Mario game.

Re: The Lara Croft Collection Will Finally Launch On Switch Later This Month
Great co-op games! I already own both on Steam and/or PS3, so I might skip this if it is digital only. Would love to own a physical version though!

@Tasuki No, in English Ash was voiced by Veronica Taylor prior to 2006.

Re: Rumour: Neopets Could Be Coming To Switch
Ouf, I remember last time Neopets was on Nintendo consoles, with Capcom's help even. The less said the better.
