Here's hoping every single amiibo will be compatible. Don't see why not.
Speaking of which, really, every game where customization exists via amiibo should be compatible with every amiibo (which I'm assuming Yoshi's Woolly World is doing). There's no reason why Art Academy, Splatoon, and Mario Kart 8 shouldn't be compatible with the entire Smash lineup. Same goes for Ace Combat. Heck, even Xenoblade 3D could benefit with some amiibo-exclusive cosmetic changes.
I probably already know the answer to this question, but just curious, do the Art Academy games (or at least this game in particular) support layers like other computer art programs do?
@nf_2 Monster Hunter 4 came out in September 2013 in Japan. 4G came out October 2014, and the West got the 4U version in February 2015. I'm just saying, it might take a while before this game comes to the West (I'd expect a late 2016 / early 2017 release date). Unless you're willing to wait that long for another Monster Hunter game of course.
Watch this become the one game that we've all been looking for that becomes a massive system-seller, like what happened with the 3DS w/ Mario Kart 7 and Mario 3D Land, and what we thought would happen with Smash Wii U and Mario Kart 8
Won't happen, but who knows. Splatoon seems to be selling really well, from what I hear.
Dammit, I still need to beat MH3U Gonna have to step up my game if I want to beat both 3U and 4U (which I haven't even started nor picked up yet) before X comes out.
This is a review of the full game. NintendoLife, and other known reviewers, got their copy early, a practice that occurs with almost every other game, especially first party Wii U games.
The only reason the review wasn't finished was because they wanted to make sure that the online was stable when non-reviewers play the game. If it was, the review would likely be an 8 or a 9; else, a lower score would have been awareded.
People are probably gonna blame Lizard Squad over this — and then Lizard Squad will probably take the blame even if they weren't behind it just to gain notoriety — and I don't blame 'em. All three previous testfires went down perfectly. Odd...
@LinkSword Huh. I thought the reason why they waited so long to bring the game to other regions was so that they could use the English dub/VA. Not that I'm complaining — the dub wasn't particularly good imo.
I noticed Japanese voice acting in the trailer. I wonder if that's just a placeholder or not.
Anyhoo, does anyone know if I buy a download code of this — assuming that they're gonna distribute download codes from the official Nintendo website, which is unlikely tbh — will I be able to register/download it onto my 3DS if I'm less than 17 years old? (yeah yeah, I'm underaged, now shush)
Someone already pointed this out, but it seems that the original reveal trailer had that cut scene pre-rendered, while the latest gameplay video saw the same cut scene running in the game at realtime. Either way, this is the only cut scene that appears to have been downgraded — everything else has either been left the same or upgraded.
There's a chance that they're lying about the "no E3" comment, and then surprising us all when they show Zelda right before the presentation ends, albeit it being highly improbable (hey, I can dream!).
Anyhoo, I don't really get the predictions people make about Zelda Wii U also coming to the NX. Skyward Sword came out 1 year before the Wii U came out, and that wasn't a Wii U game. Plus, they stated that more info on the NX would come be shown in 2016, not that they would actually be releasing it then (the Wii U was shown off in April 2011 and released in 2012), so chances of Zelda U coming to the NX seems very unlikely me thinks.
If Microsoft and Sony really want to compete with PC gaming, they're gonna have to end their consoles' life spans early; neither home console will be able to stand a chance against PC gaming in a few years.
Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, this... doesn't look half bad. Can anyone confirm if this version runs at a constant 30fps and if screen-tearing is lacking or not?
I've never had a chance to play the first three games, but I've played Dual Destinies and soon I'm going to be playing Layton vs. Wright (I can't wait 'till December just to play Phoenix Wright again!). I'm really looking forward to this, just give us a damn release date already Capcom!

Re: Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure Will Try to Make Us All Feel Better Soon
The game releases the day my final exams begin
I'll probably pick it up the week after. After playing Dr. Luigi, I'd be willing to play a portable version.

Re: Video: Ever Wondered What Happens When A Splatoon Turf War Ends In A Tie?
@NintyMan I once won a match by .1% during the testfire. It was crazy.

Re: Video: Discover What Happens When Yoshis Meet amiibo In This New Yoshi’s Woolly World Trailer
I wonder if this means that every Smash amiibo will be compatible... looks like my Wii Fit Trainer amiibo will finally get some use
Re: Reaction: There is a Positive Angle to Nintendo's Splatoon Global Testfire Issues
@mjc0961 I pre-purchased Splatoon on the eShop already. Whoops.

Re: Minecraft Clone Cube Life: Island Survival Confirmed For June Release, Launch Discount Revealed
I can't play Minecraft for a minute before getting bored, so I definitely will not bother with this.
And besides... that water... it's pretty ugly.

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles X Paid-DLC Details Emerge With Characters, Quests and Skell Unlocks
...meh. Not too bothered by it, although I imagine most people would be.
I wonder if the DLC will also arrive in other regions.
Re: Social Networks Go Into Meltdown Over Apparent The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 3D Rumour
There's been a second sighting, apparently, although it still looks rather iffy to be honest. https://twitter.com/TheSebiroth/status/589835816937062402

Don't you mean "Wii" experiences?

Re: Weirdness: Nintendo Tries to Jump on the Oscars Bandwagon With Its Own Film Awards
Kinda disappointed the Honorary Bird Award didn't go to "Birdemic" — one of those "so bad it's good" movies.
Re: Talking Point: Star Fox for Wii U is an Ongoing and Surprising Mystery
@edgedino He was probably talking about StarFox Command.
Re: Digital Foundry Ponders Next-Gen Hardware Options for Nintendo
@TrueWiiMaster I highly doubt that the PS4 and Xbox One will last 10 years. Both are underpowered (neither aren't even capable of 4K gaming), and it will be more than just a challenge to be able to compete with PC gaming. Hell, just take a look at this: http://international.download.nvidia.com/geforce-com/international/comparisons/metal-gear-solid-v-ground-zeroes/metal-gear-solid-v-ground-zeroes-pc-vs-playstation-4-comparison-1.html

Re: Weirdness: April Fools Comes Early As Amazon France Lists ZombiU 2 For Wii U
I really hope this somehow turns out to be true. ZombiU was criminally underrated, and a sequel would be just about the best thing ever.
Re: Video: This Is What Watch Dogs Looks Like On Wii U
@Sir420 Just wondering, does the Wii U version also have the same online modes as the PS4 and Xbox One?
