Nintendo, why are you depriving kids and fans of this content?

Control your greed.

This is an overly convoluted system to encourage people to buy the same game on multiple consoles they own or their family owns. Why pass on hardships to the consumer?

Why not just allow Steam Family Sharing and undo the local network restrictions on sharing altogether?

This is anti-consumer and it will harm Nintendo as the inevitable backlash will come with the Switch 2 launch.

Nintendo will have to figure out another system.

I have already stopped myself from buying multiple new Switch consoles for this very reason.

All my consoles should allow me to play my entire library without any issues by default.

Seeing the original DS on release did not encourage me to get it at all, esp since I had the awesome GBA SP.

It wasn't until the Lite and later the DSi XL that I began appreciating it's aesthetic.

They made the same mistake with the original 3DS, the weird black top screen, button aesthetic, and the blocksly start, home, select buttons.

3ds xl was quite gorgeous, and the design was perfected with the new 3ds XL, shame the face plates were only on the smaller n3ds.

I actually did some research as to who actually got the original (awesome) Fire Temple soundtrack removed because as a Muslim it was hard for me to believe one of us wouldn't be excited with that representation of the Azaan (call to prayer).

Turns out it was a Christian group which objected. This is another case where we get blamed for things we never did.

Oh and the original Mirror Shield was S-tier. Which Muslim wouldn't want that in the game?

For a game based on colors, the colors look really washed out. I'm still hoping it won't be that bad. I was a little partial to sticker star when it came out.

Just hope Paper Mario isn't going the Chibi Robo route.

So pumped! Colors are similar to the first Red/Blue. Coincidence? I wonder.

@SnackBox Holding L and R, then pressing Y gives it a green filter like the original gameboy. I used it on Kirby's Dreamland and it slowed down the game and added ghosting.

Holding Start or Select when beginning a VC gameboy game resizes the games to their original aspect ratio eliminating blurriness and adding a 3D border around the game screen of a gameboy. Wow, I never knew this but it is in the manual for the gameboy VC games now that I checked.

Love the classics(red/blue & gold/silver), yet black&white were a breath of fresh air. Fourth is platinum because of the legendaries.

One of the best fighting games ever made. I never knew a mech fighting game could be so good until I played it way back when.

Man, I thought it would be cheaper. Probably still going to get Yellow and eventually Red. Nostalgia wins again.
