See you on the Sea of Thieves, Pirates. It is an awesome and unique game. Updates have made this game 10x better than launch. Don't look at reviews to decide if you will play.
Lots of new content every year. In fact they just introduced private servers for those not interested in PVP. May not be critically acclaimed, but the game is a ton of fun with friends. The Pirates of the Carribean and Monkey Island DLCs are especially good.
Embracer and Microsoft are not the same. Teams working for Xbox have expressed how great it has been and they have been given creative freedom on top of it. If anything, Square Enix really screwed Crystal Dynamics by implementing awful monetization in a decent Avengers game.
