My switch is mainly for exclusives but when I do get multi platform games they are often smaller indies which look exactly the same on Switch. I'm one of those that predominantly plays their Switch in docked mode so makes more sense for me to get on a more powerful console.

Already had the adapter and controller ordered so i've cancelled those and ordered this.

@finalstan It's given me the same feeling. I've found myself looking for more JRPG's to play now after not having played one for quite some time.

Decided to start Xenoblade 2 a couple of weeks ago with low expectations due to disliking X. I beat the game in a few sittings, it's easily in my top 10 list across all consoles the past few years. The story and characters were well done I thought and the music brilliant. I may even decide to get the expansion pass if the final story dlc gets good reviews.

Let's hope this means a cheaper deal for nintendo when the next processor is released for them.

Whilst I agree VR is not worth them investing in at the moment, 4k TV's are extremely affordable now and it does provide a huge improvement to image quality. The only reason they don't support it is because the hardware is not capable of 4k gaming which is understandable considering it's a 6" tablet. It's just their way of saying this fact without the normal consumer seeing them saying "our console isn't powerful enough to support 4k" which gives off a negative image.

You have to try and cater to the fans because it's them who will continue to come back time and time again for the franchise. However, at the same time you have to try change some of the games traditional aspects to gain mass market appeal.

Please people buy 1-2 switch

@norwichred Hope you can find another job soon (assuming you're after one). I would say it's pretty reasonable to wait until this winter or later to get one. Wait for some more AAA games other than Zelda which you can play on your wiiu anyway. There's also some good price drops on wiiu titles now.

Still no VC news?

Even if they could release it on the switch, it would run terribly and look even worse. It just doesn't have the power for that kind of game.

I'm pretty sure the wii was about £100 cheaper from what i remember. If it was the same price as the wii or even £200 I'm sure it would be an impulse buy for everyone.

Whilst yes the price is less than most were expecting, it is still a bad deal compared to xbox live gold and ps plus when you consider ps plus can generally be bought for around £33 and xbox live as low as £25. The xbox comes with 4 games every month you can play on your new console and generally 3-4 that you can play on the ps4.

I'm playing it safe. Going to get zelda on wiiu then wait a year or so to see how the switch is looking game wise and some decent deals for it.

If you have an xbox one and gold you'll be getting this for free on the 1st.

I was looking forwards to it until I started playing rocket league. Now this feels terrible in comparison.

The bayonetta 2 demo made me buy a game I never would have got otherwise.

@mystman12 I got it on xbox for free and I wouldn't recommend it.
