This is only for PC, right?

I've never played a Monster Hunter game before, but I'm curious to try one. Where should I start? Should I wait for this game to come out, or buy one of the older titles?

Already own this on DS, but I urge anyone that hasn't played it to definitely do so. One of my favorite games of all time. Days of Ruin was good too, but I think it ended up ruining the fun of the game by trying to make it too balanced.

I really hope they make a new game in the series that's in the same vein as DS and DoR.

I'm confused. This game was ported to the DS a long time ago. I owned a copy.

It's funny to me that people are worried about the game offering no challenge. Were people ever looking for a challenge when they played AC? Personally, I play AC to relax and not worry about anything. Seems like this offers the same vibe, minus some other core AC experiences.

Nintendo should be ashamed at that Metroid 3DS game announcement, and that Animal Crossing abomination. Seriously? Just make a legit game instead of these mini-games.

I wanted to get a regular sized New 3DS. It was a poor choice from Nintendo to only release the XL here. Not everyone wants the bigger options. I like my standard sized 3DS even after holding an XL.

@Emblem One bad review shouldn't deter someone from playing the game. It's one gamer's opinion. The game HAS been getting average review scores, however. I think the 5/10 is harsh, because it's a Yoshi game, but it just didn't tread new ground;deciding to play it safe. A 7/10 would have been more fair.

@Barsteward1 What...Do you really think this is the first time they've played the game? They've played it countless of times. They know it backwards and forwards. They don't need to sit there and absorb the atmosphere every single time they play the game. How many times do you need to slowly play through a game?

If you watched this speed run challenge, you would see how much skill and care goes into the process. It's amazing to watch.

Whatever is available for VC on Wii-U should also be available to play on the 3DS. Nintendo is losing out on tons of money by making certain VC games only available on Wii-U. I'm looking at you Earthbound.

@6ch6ris6 Wut? It's been tried and tested format for JRPGs that you have a party of which you build up. If you want to play a game where you only have one character to take care of, then play an action/RPG. Or you could even play this game on Classic Mode and go solo if you want a challenge.

Japanese love handheld gaming more than console gaming anyway.

The 3DS price drop was much more immediate than this Wii U one. Personally, I don't think Wii U owners should get anything.

Wasn't Catherine the last game Atlus ever made for another console? Almost all of their games have been on Nintendo consoles for a while now.

I see there's an almost 50/50 split between don't care, and abolish region locking. We'll never move forward at this rate! Personally, I've only imported a couple PS2 games in the past, since then I've never bothered to import anything.

I'm surprised at how well Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is doing.

The dual screen is what sold me on the DS lite and subsequently the 3DS. I don't have a Wii U, but I think the gamepad is a great idea that can open up a lot of good gameplay elements in the future if used correctly.

People who are saying Yoshi's Island SNES wasn't good; are you crazy? That game was genius. Almost everything about it was perfect.

When has Bethesda ever released a handheld game? I'm not really surprised. They've also never released games on a Nintendo console, so I'm not surprised there either.

Best Animal Crossing game. I even got my GF hooked. She didn't like it at first, but now she loves it and doesn't want to stop playing. She's in Taiwan right now so we often visit each other's towns. Works flawlessly.
