@Rygar The SNES version is an updated version of the NES game. The teams, players, stadiums & gameplay are all the same just with much better graphics. Also in regards to simulation of a season, unlike the NES version the SNES version simulated games extremely fast. It's really a great game.
Great article! It was great to see & play Baseball Simulator 1.000 again on Wii U's virtual console. That's a baseball game that's simple, fun, & very creative.
A very poorly written article. The article itself would have been fine had all mentions of Nintendo & video games removed. This could have been a fine historical article, but the writer ruins that possibility by almost implying "its better to bomb that town than this town that will create my future video game heroes". Sad.
If this writer just wrote about how Stimson help saved Kyoto from an atomic bomb (without any mention of nintendo or video games), this would have been great article.
I bought Nintendo stock because I believed in Nintendo. The stock has fallen over 150% the past few years & 17% today alone. That's usually the mark of a CEO on the way out. I like Iwata, but he really needs to go immediately.
Actually it would be a good idea for Nintendo to enter the smartphone market. Create their own tablet/smartphone game developing company that also includes 3DS & Wii U's eShop. If you download the the app & enjoy it, then purchase the 3DS or Wii U to play the full version. They could create that studio with all new IP's.
