That makes more sense now. XCX has been well received in the West compared to Japan(Japanese impressions were mixed). I remember reading a few translated reviews a couple months ago that said the game felt too "western".
You have to remember though that the NX could be handheld and console. 6 million for both(or a little less) seems more realistic than a console selling that much.
@aaronsullivan It released in March 2012, when the 3DS started gaining steam. He hasn't gotten much push except in Japan and I wouldn't mind seeing him in a sequel or an HD version.
@FragRed 1.18 million as of 3/31/13 1.19 million as of 4/04/15. In two years, Uprising has sold .01 million units. I don't think that's enough to justify bringing him back, and Sakurai has mentioned that he doesn't plan on making a sequel.

That's not going to happen. It's been stated over and over why, but it's because Ridley wouldn't be able to fit on the 3DS screens.
