Re: Feature: Wii U Launch Day, Live!

DrSlump

I early wii u adopters! How's going, i read some problems here and there, but they seems to be mii verse (maybe overloaded servers..?) only.
What about wii u? How's the system speed, is it responsive?
How's the launch hardcore game "zombi u"? Did you like graphics, are the wii u a real step over the past competitors generation?

Re: Feature: Wii U Launch Day, Live!

@Bass_X0 because in my wii there are some memories that i want to stay there, and because i will go to live in another place, while the the wii would remain here were my brother could continue to use it.
There are many reasons becouse anyone would like to leave original savegame and settings on the wii, honestly i don't understand why nintendo choosed to delete them rathen tham backup them. These are simple savegames, miis and settings.. not copyrighted material

Re: Feature: Wii U Launch Day, Live!

@zipmon thankyou, i will'try when i'll get my wii u.
@True_Hero thankyou, but i want the original mii. Yes it's hard to get the point, but this is my first job to do when i'll have my new wii u..

Re: Feature: Wii U Launch Day, Live!

DrSlump

@zipmon: yes i know the option to copy the wii contents to the wii u, but this proces is destructive: all wii data will be lost and accessible on wii u only.
I would like to leave my wii as it is, i joust want to bring with me a particular mii wich is very important to me.

Re: Talking Point: The Realities of Wii U System Memory Have Become Clear

DrSlump

That's ok. For storage purposes, an external hd is cheap and it's an optional.
But, let's consider another nice use for an internal hdd:
the main advanced use is for game streaming.
The first would give to the wii u some boost in performances, such as all new ps3 games does (for example: god of war III delivers such rich graphics thanks to hdd streaming).

Re: Talking Point: Wii U and the Importance of Backward Compatibility

DrSlump

@TheRealThanosI still got my old C128 with its original box, and i will keep it untill my death I will buy the new wii u and, if the compatibility with previous games is @100%, i will use it to play all my games to save up some space. My wii will rest in the box, for future use, but i will not sell it.

Re: Hands On: Nintendo Land

DrSlump

@k8sMum: I agree. The should sell 32GB white or black with nintendoland included and an extra pack wich includes for exaple zombi u.
Nintendoland is more a showcase of console abilities than a real game.

Re: Talking Point: Wii U and the Next Generation of Consoles

DrSlump

"We cannot promise that the Wii U will never be excluded from multiplatform software for eternity"
You must promise that your platform will not be excluded until the end of it's lifecycle, idiot.
I'm a Nintendo fan but, really, i want to see something new, they can't always throw to us the same old mario, zelda and metroid.. i want new stories, new characters.. a new incredible saga.. were the hell old school game artists are?

Re: Sumo Digital: Wii U "Looks As Good" as HD Platforms

DrSlump

@Henmii It's opinion to me that graphics power is the same of the actual gen consoles. In other words, if you got a ps3, there is no reason to buy a wii u. May be a new zelda or metroid prime would raise my hype, but "new super mario bros U" isn't enough.. wathever new trick they added to the gameplay.

Re: Sumo Digital: Wii U "Looks As Good" as HD Platforms

DrSlump

@hydeks Yes nintendo can do a lot of things, like another mario, another zelda, another wii party or mario party etc.. That's ok but, as sony and microsoft does, apart from the exclusive titles, they should offer multiplaftorm games too like, for example, the exceptional mass effect trilogy, to enjoy which i had to buy a ps3. Why should i buy wii u if i know that, apart from exclusive titles (super mario bros "n") i'll find the same titles i could buy for a ps3 system? Sorry, but i can't see innovation in nintendo's titles, zelda and mario gameplay is great, but i think this is the right time to risk and invent something really new.

Re: Sumo Digital: Wii U "Looks As Good" as HD Platforms

DrSlump

"as good as any of the HD platforms".. this sounds to me as "no Full-HD" and "the same power of the actual gen consoles"... with some years delay. In other way, it's possible that, with the incoming of the next gen consoles, we'll have to buy another console to enjoy multiplatform games.
