Damn. At this point Eurpoe is leading by 3/4 the vote. Surprises me.
I think the gold is so much better personally. Nothing wrong with the other design. But wow, that golden art design makes the game look like something truly special. Which it of course is.
Personally, I hope they gut this game and turn it inside out. Really re-do and reimagine Ocarina of Time. The story and characters are timeless, the rest it pretty retro. It's a classic, but the same tricks won't work twice.
They reimagined what Zelda could be with Botw, it's time to do it again while making it distinct from Botw and the original formula.
Once upon a time, OoT set the standard. To do anything less than do that again, I think, would be a mistake.
@Pillowpants Alarmo completely changed my life. I know that sounds like the most clickbait first sentence ever, but it's true.
The alarm on my phone had me all of sudden waking up in sweats. Same alarm I had for like 5 years and now all of sudden every time it went off I would wake up panicked. Went on for months and I was desperate for a solution.
Alarmo came out and fixed all my problems. Waking up and hearing different Nintendo franchises peaceful music followed by Mario's "wahoo's" or links "hyah's!" would wake me up slowly over the course of like 30 seconds, rather than the sudden jump of a single second.
I have a wife too. I won't pretend like the alarm didn't annoy her at first, but those growing pains were only like a week with figuring out the best alarm settings. I have mine set to moderate and the volume about 2/3's the way.
I'm trying to really sell the idea because I thought it was more of a silly product at first. I'm the kind of guy who buy's $2 shampoo and wears out shoes completely before buying new ones. So when I bought this thing for the price it is as more of a 'health' purchase than a novelty, I wondered if I was setting myself up to be the fool.
The only bad thing is there is no batteries on it incase the power goes out. I keep a backup alarm on my phone 10 minutes after Alarmo is meant to go off incase. The power went out on me a few weeks ago for about half an hour. That's the only true negative I have of it.
This was my first Star Fox game when it came out. I really liked it. I didn't have any complaints about it like so many others did. Not to invalidate others criticisms. I just thought it was a lot of fun! I even liked the controls.
Also the kids in my cinema were having the time of their life. They even seemed to be getting some of the more obscure references as they were gasping at stuff I wouldn't expect people to recognize who don't obsess themselves with Nintendo. So that made me happy to see.
After watching the first movie and accepting these films will never be how I imagined a Mario movie in my head to be, I had a lot more fun with this film.
This isn't Pixar or Ghibli level stuff here. Not even close. But I thought the movie was a lot of fun and pretty good overall. Better than the first to be sure.
I happily stopped playing AC about a decade ago with Origins when the series went the rpg route. But damnit, nostalgia might grab me on this one and reel me back in just one more time. I do love AC4 a ton.

Re: PSA: LEGO Is Officially Retiring Its First Zelda Set, Get It Before It's Gone
I haven't gotten a Lego Set for myself since I was an early teenager. Hyrule Castle is the only Lego set I would think twice about buying.
Re: Star Fox Is Finally Getting Another Game, Out June 2026 Exclusively On Switch 2
Well I'm happy with the new art style. Fox and crew have already had so many different looks, what's one more.
But 64. Again!?! I'll play it with a smile on my face and a touch of disappointment in my heart.
New cutscenes should be pretty cool though...
Re: Round Up: The Previews Are In For 007: First Light
@The-Chosen-one The Switch 2 version was delayed, so I imagine they will release footage for that version when it's ready for release.
