Re: Video: Nintendo Gives Us A Closer Look At Switch 2's GameCube Controller

if you couldn't get this, 8bitdo made a mod kit to replace the board of an original. It's pretty good and probably what I'll be using for Gamecube on the Switch 2. It has clickable sticks and it lets you reuse the shell of a broken gamecube controller if you have one, and you can have different colors! It doesn't have a normal usb c charging port and obviously no Game Chat button though.

I want the Mario Party games! Especially if they could get the switch mic to work with 6 and 7!

Hopefully if they do put Melee on it they really make sure it's working right. But knowing everything it'll probably be like Ocarina on Switch Online where to a layman like me it felt fine, but to a Speed runner who has played 5 hours of the game nearly every day for multiple years it felt bad.

Not saying that people complaining isn't justified for how much the service costs, it's just tiring with everyone saying the same thing over and over again.

Re: Opinion: Steam Deck Fans Are Seriously Underestimating The Switch 2

When it comes to value arguments and how everyone should just buy the steam deck, people leave out how much a library of games could cost.

What I mean is I already am well invested into the switch library, more than my steam library. Yes I could get those games for cheap during a sale, but it would still require buying the games again. Also a lot of games I do own have problems and would require a purchase of a newer version on steam. Two I can think of are burnout paradise and Star Wars battlefront 1&2.

Minecraft bedrock will also never come to Steam Deck, and i do not want to wait for Java controller mods to have to update to new versions.

@Idontfare calm down about the dock man, is it really so serious you have to call it a piece of trash?

Re: Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Now Boasts 300 Playable Titles

I did the math, and if all of these games cost what they would on virtual console, based on the prices from Wii U eShop, it's over $2000. This could buy you and 7 other people a family expansion pass for 25 years.

The values I used are :
Gameboy and NES for $5
SNES and GBA for $8
N64 for $10
And GameCube for $15

Amounts were in the list from this website.
