I can see people's problem with this, but right now I'm playing Tales of the Abyss on my 3DS, and that was about 3 years old when it was ported to 3DS, so why is it ok on 3DS and not on Wii U?

If you read the patent filed, its extremely vaguely worded and so it be easy to try to claim the 3DS is infringing, it will be likely overturned on appeal.

Hey, its my namesake game . I have owned since 2009. Glad Europe is getting this enhanced version now.

What made the Digimon anime so superior to the Pokemon anime was the well developed characters, well crafted story with its different arcs that flowed together well, and the fact didnt treat kids like little idiots that couldnt handle a serious story. I prefer the Pokemon games, and in games a minimalist story is forgivable because its a game and gameplay can save it.

Nintendo, hire this man the second he is free from Ubisoft!!!!

A couple of a points:
1. A lot of the other franchises being mentioned here who got HD remakes don't have the luster and the history of the Legend of Zelda.
2. People have already shown that they are willing to pay full price for HD remakes on Nintendo consoles with the OOT on 3DS in 2011, which was the best selling on the system at one point.

In this article it states the Wii U's worldwide sales are 1.9 million so far, however I have seen it around 2.5 million places, so who's right?

I can recommend Nyko batteries because I bought one for my 3DS(original model), and it worked great it added a lot battery life to my 3DS over the standard battery.

@Shiryu Yes!! I love the Ace Combat game for 3DS as well. I wish it had a higher profile with 3DS owners.

@Scollurio, why don't you stop putting all the blame on Nintendo for the laziness of 3rd parties. If you had bothered to check the history of how much consoles sell in the first week of launch the Wii U did very well in comparison. So selling triple was never going to happen.

I'm from Canada, and my theory on why its only being released in Canada at moment is because its a test market to see if it will sell good in a medium size market like Canada(35 million people). If it sells well then NOA will put it into the US market.

First, we don't even know the specs are on the CPU of the Wii U and just because a low rent developer who was probably stressed out and shot his mouth off without thinking doesn't make it a bad CPU. You can plug just about an external hard drive into the Wii u,so space is never a problem. I new PS3 is a cheaply made money grab for Sony because they are so incompetent when it comes to running their business. Oh and the Gamepad can plug into the console as well so you can keep playing.
You left out one reason for you not getting the Wii U: "I'm a Sony fanboy".
