@Specter_of-the_OLED He was basically just a stop gap after Iwata passed. He was just there until a replacement was named. He didn't implement anything he just followed what Iwata had already laid out.
I live in the states (Florida) I see them frequently in stores like Best Buy and Target. I bought a second dock early on, my cousin uses it when he comes over to play Mario Kart and I use it when the main TV is in use. I'll have a third soon when I buy my fiance a Switch.
The comment above is from the kickstarter email I got from playtonic. I'm a disappointed the WiiU version won't be coming out because everyone doesn't have one of the other systems or will be able to get a Switch. I have Xbox1 and will be getting a Switch.
Making the Switch After many challenging months, we’re finally able to update you on the Wii U version of Yooka-Laylee and announce a number of developments.
The Playtonic team is sad to confirm that despite our best efforts and exploring every possible avenue, we’ve encountered unforeseen technical issues that unfortunately mean it will be impossible for us to release the game on Wii U as initially planned. We can however confirm the exciting news that we are now working very closely with Nintendo to look to bring Yooka-Laylee to the upcoming Nintendo Switch. We’re looking forward to exploring the opportunity and will have more details to share early next year. We’d like to apologise to those affected by this development and offer all Wii U backers the opportunity to move their pledge free-of-charge to any of the versions launching on April 11th (PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac or Linux) or upgrade to the Nintendo Switch version when we announce further details in 2017.
@S-Miyahon my response had nothing to do with any of those games that you mentioned at all. Are those games you talked about they're IP? What I was talking about was home world and the brothers in arms series that was mentioned. Your reading comprehension shows your ignorance. I'm a nintendo and have been since I was a kid and always going to be but, I also own other systems and play games on them.
