IMO, the pictures look fake. It looks like someone redesigned a Gamecube controller. lol.

I still don't believe this "Project Cafe'" thing is real. I doubt Nintendo is going to announce a new system this E3 (next year at E3? Very likely imo). Because 1) We just got the 3DS and Nintendo wouldn't want to take attention away from that. They've been hyping the 3DS this year as the "next big thing". Introducing a new system would just take the spotlight off of it 2) Nintendo has already stated they won't be doing another system until the Wii sells more and 3) The whole 'Project Cafe' thing sounds like some fans day-dream project. It just doesn't sound like something Nintendo would do. HD, a hard-drive, Blu-ray, and a touch-screen controller? Its like some fan thought up a way to combine a PS3 and a DS. lol.

I won't buy any of this until I see it straight from Nintendo. Have to say though: I'll be disappointed if this thing is real. It sounds more like something Sony or Microsoft would do. It doesn't scream "Nintendo" to me.

lol. Nintendo would never be that lazy. Sounds more like something Apple or Sony or Microsoft might come up with. (and I say that as a Sony fan too. I like Sony, but they haven't been that inventive lately...)

I think whatever the next Nintendo console is it will be announced NEXT YEAR and it'll be far more interesting than this rumor.

I doubt that Nintendo will announce a new console this year. Even if the system is coming out next year, it would still take focus away from the 3DS, which just came out. I doubt Nintendo would want to do that. Especially since they have been playing up how many cool new features the 3DS is going to have. I think new console talk is just from people who want Nintendo to do another new console. I think Nintendo will have one NEXT YEAR and like someone else said, they may HINT about a new system, but I think the focus this year will mostly be on the 3DS, with some interesting new Wii games announced too.

I also have to say that I hope they don't announce a new console. I want Nintendo's E3 to be about the 3DS mostly. I just bought the system. I think its great and has a lot of potential. Here's hoping Nintendo focuses on the 3DS for a little bit before getting another new console.

This is a pretty bad update for Wiiware/DSiware imo.

I liked the first Conduit. Fun game. A 3DS Conduit might be cool.

Question: Is it possible that 3DS transfer will happen via SD card? I have many of my DSiware games saved on my SD card. I know that the Wii lets you transfer games onto the card and then you can play them off that via a short download. Shouldn't that be the way the transfer is done? I wouldn't think that the transfer would be system to system. The DSi doesn't have any way to do that (unless they are going to update the DSi too). Or maybe the transfer has something to do with your Club Nintendo account? That does keep track of some of your DSiware games. Hmmm.

Anyway, I have to save up the money for my 3DS, so the eShop & etc should (hopefully) be up by the time I get it.

My favorite Wii game of 2010 was Epic Mickey. From beginning to end, I enjoyed it a lot. Its such a great game! Enjoyed it far more than Mario Galaxy 2 (which was a good game too). Hmm. In fact, I should play it again soon. I also like Donkey Kong Country Returns a lot. I would say it would be my #2 after Epic Mickey.

I totally agree about Dragon Quest 9 being the best DS game though. I still play it after all this time (especially on new quest Friday) and so does another family member. DQ9 is an amazing game. Here's hoping DQ10 will be for the 3DS!

Don't forget everyone: there is a 3DS event in Japan on Jan. 8-10! We should get some new info on games then too (I hope). At least some new videos of playable and non-playable games.

As for Nintendo games I'm looking forward to:

Animal Crossing 3DS, Paper Mario 3DS, Ocarnia of Time 3DS, Skyward Sword, and lots of more!

I wouldn't worry about affording all these games right away though. I doubt most of them will come out at launch. Sure, I hope I'm wrong (I'd love to buy AC3DS at launch, but doubt it), but I think some of the probably still need work. We'll should see most of them sometime this year though, right? Here's hoping.

I like the Rabbids (especially in Rabbids Go Home), but I hope that Rayman 3D is a NEW Rayman platformer title for the 3DS.

I hope we get this in the US too. I do want to try Jett Rocket, Furry Legends, and Zombie Panic. Maybe Thru Space. Wiiware demos as an ongoing service is a great idea! Glad they are finally doing this.

This is VERY cool. It has PS3 games too! $2 is a great price also.
Too bad my area is NOT one of the areas thats getting this. sigh

Wild, I totally agree. I hope Mario kart, paper mario, and especially Animal Crossing make the launch window.

I have to be honest, the launch titles, as is, don't thrill me. I would buy Ocarnia of Time, but none of the other titles listed for the launch window interest me.

For me, the big reason to get a 3DS is Animal Crossing! I am interested in Kid Icarus, but when Animal Crossing for the 3DS was announced I was sold on the system (and so was the rest of my AC addicted family). Sure, I am looking forward to the 3D on the system, plus all of its cool new features (especially the Virtual Console), but Animal Crossing 3DS is what I'm looking forward to the most. I hope it makes the launch window. I hear its going to let you be the mayor & let you have more control over creating your town (how much control, who knows).

Anyway, here's hoping a few more titles appear at launch; especially Animal Crossing & Kid Icarus.

I have my copy pre-ordered and somebody else I know has one pre-ordered. Its going to be great playing the multiplayer & trying out the tag mode! Also, just got the guide the other day and it looks so great. Looking forward to DQ9 a lot!

Yep, unhappy about the Metroid delay. I was hoping to get that for my B-day in July.

I am happy that the Earthworm Jim DSiware game has been given a date. May 10th. At least, I know not to expect anything good until May. lol.

As for Photo Dojo, I wasn't interested, but since its going to be free for awhile, I may pick it up. Not sure how much I'd play it though. lol.

The Metroid delay sucks though. sigh Hope Nintendo has some cool announcements at E3...

I hope Swords & Soldiers does come out Monday. I also hope that the VC game is good too (hoping for Majora's Mask). Ya, I know it won't happen. lol. It would be so great though. I've been losing faith in Nintendo lately (so many bad Wiiware/DSiware and Nintendo games). A great Wiiware/Virtual Console update would be awesome.

The game is a sequel to FF2 (FF4). Thats why it looks similar.

MY guess is that the first game will be 500 points (though they may go for 1000). I think they will, most likely, have in-game menu where you can buy the other episodes (think the downloadables for My Life As A King).

Hopefully, the episodes after the first episode will be cheaper.

Honestly, I'd love to buy this game. I love RPGs and the footage for this looks so great. But the whole episodic thing has me worried. I have a lot of points right now, but I don't want to spend them all on this game. Plus, would I even have enough points for it? Square really should tell us ahead of time how much this game is going to cost...

In any case, I'm going to wait and see how the reviews for this are. I have to know how long the episodes are going to be and how much. sigh
