I've been thinking about buying a Vita just for portable Minecraft (I don't want to play the crappy mobile version). I can't see it coming to 3DS though.

You know, only a small hand of people really 'get' it here in the comments section. Most are not well informed and there are others that just do not understand the importance of sales in general. It's kind of sad...

It's funny to see comments that say something along the lines of "Here comes the people saying the Wii U is doomed." After reading through the majority of these comments, no one ever mentioned it was doomed. However, they are implying that this should not be an accomplishment to be very proud of.

On the subject of Wii U sales in Japan, this is just me talking. These past few weeks it has been doing around 8k and I can't see the Wii U selling more than that until Mario Kart 8 comes out. Which will be in May. That's a three month drought! What the hell were they thinking? Every week from now on, the Wii U sales will slower dip down a couple hundred and before you know it, it will be below 3k. Of course, this is just me guessing, but I really don't see eShop titles bringing in the crowd. Yeah, you have the GBA games and NES Remix 2 in April, but no one will be interested in those enough to buy a system.

Just a little side note, I want to thank Nintendo for slowly releasing virtual console games. I used to buy them digitally, but now I just can't handle the wait. So, I've actually started collecting. I've started with Game Boy games and will move onto Color games when I'm through with the games that I would like to have.

This was fun typing all of this out, I should do it more often.

It's no surprise hardly any third party games aren't coming to the Wii U. It's like last gen all over again. But it just makes me cringe when I read someone's comment saying something along the lines of "who cares, I don't like 3rd party games anyway". It's like holy jesus, these people must have missed out on some really great games that aren't made by Nintendo.

I know people have different standards, but $15 is too much for this game. Having played Dr. Mario before, I can't see me getting my money's worth here. Hoping for a half price sale in the future.

I don't get it. This is just a guy's opinion. If he thinks the Wii U a great pick right now, then good for him. Whatever games you like is what system you should buy. If you like Nintendo games, then a Wii U is a great choice. If you like third party games, then a XB1 or PS4 is a great choice. I don't see what all the fuss is about.

Here's my stance - I wouldn't mind having the ability to play online with my friends. However, Nintendo's online structure is pretty bad. No voice chat [For a lot of games] and no type of IM [Sure you can send messages in Miiverse, but that requires you to open up Miiverse, which you can't do if you're playing online]. It's just not fun if you can't communicate with other players online in real time. Also, this kind of deals with the subject, but they should really have an account system. Not only for the sake of re-downloading games from the e-Shop if hardware breaks, but for the fact (for instance) I'm playing Nintendo Land and I unlock all these types of levels and items. Then, when someone else gets on, on their account, all the levels and items are unlocked. So stupid...

Interesting. After I see the Dr Robotnik game review, I'll make my decision on which GG game to get.

Honestly, I'll only pick it up if I see it for $20 or less. Nothing against the game, I'd just rather spend money on prepaid eShop cards.

Going to wait for this one to hit the Wii U VC.

Really surprised Final Fantasy 4 and/or 6 didn't make an appearance.

Like most people here, I already have the Wii version, so I'm going to pass. Unless I see it for like $10 down the years.

I'm thinking of picking up the Wii U version but I won't be able to play online. Is there a lot of online only things to do in the game that I won't be able to do offline?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this game is going to be another Epic Mickey 3DS. The Wii U version will probably be a whole lot better, but that's just my thoughts right now.

@Damo Okay, no offense or anything personal, but can you not get your mind wrapped around what I'm saying? Let me try to explain myself a bit. First off, of course 'next gen' will kick off when the Wii U is released. However, when MS and Sony's consoles launch, that will mean that next gen is definitely in since competition has arrived. I'm sure companies didn't express the same opinion when the 360 arrived, because the other consoles wasn't out yet! See where I'm going with this? If you're still confused with what I'm getting at here, look at #86 comment. And sorry to say, you do seem to have a "Nintendo4lyfe" attitude.

@hkeep I agree, misleading. In no way is he trying to say that the Wii U isn't next gen. I think he tried saying that next gen doesn't start until all new consoles are out. Poor media....

@Damo Yes, they would have released the same statement because they aren't even attacking the Wii U. They're just saying that once all new consoles are released (like above), then next gen will truly have begun.

They're still giving away DLC for Animal Crossing: City Folk for free...but it's just one item a month. I don't want to pay .99 for something as small as furniture. Maybe a full set, but still that's only like 10-15 pieces.

I don't see why a lot of people like SMG2 to begin with. It's like Mega Man X-2...nothing has changed from the first one, just a little bit more features. Also, SMS should have ranked a whole lot higher and I'm going to be the first to say it: Super Mario Bros. (the original) is not that great of a game. My opinion.

Looks like Sega didn't live up to their word for the new Sonic games...Either that or Nintendo is being an arse, like always.

To get my self hyped up, I want to play the previous AC games, but I just can't find myself being addicted to them as I once was.

A little disappointed with the game of the week sale. I'm not complaining about the game choice, it's just that a $1 knock off doesn't seem fit...like the first sale that they did with SML. Anyways, definitely downloading KI. Can't wait for Wario Land next week!

Passing on this one. The demo didn't impress me and there are just too many good games coming out later this year.
