If Ultra Sun/Moon allowed you to return to return to the Kanto region after beating the Alola region similar to Gold/Silver, that would singlehandedly sell me the game. I've not been very excited for these "new" entries and have been telling myself I probably won't pick them up, although I enjoyed Sun/Moon a lot.
Details on Ultra Sun/Moon have been light as far I can tell, if the Kanto region coming back were to happen, that would be the big hype push for this game, a real differential from the previous entry. I can see it happening.
@dew12333 Well, considering Kickstarter allowed them the opportunity to publish the game on PS4, Xbox One, AND Wii U, you might not be wrong. Were the stretch goals for those systems not met, we might have not seen a release on any system outside of PC. As for the "salesman bull", I totally buy into it. This team is comprised of video game industry veterans, and if you have been following the world and character reveals for Yooka-Laylee, along with gameplay footage, it's obvious, at least to me, this is going to be the excellent Banjo-Threeie we never got, surpassing Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie in every way.
I'm going to chime in and say I am not a fan of My Nintendo so far either. I sincerely hope they're holding out for something bigger... maybe the NX release or something. These discounts aren't that great, and where are the exclusive physical rewards? I got a Wii U game in the mail the other day and when I opened it i saw a Club Nintendo card. It made me kind of sad.
@SNESDisney Is it so wild to think that there's a huge amount of people that love the game? You say it's extremely overrated because you don't like it as much, and it's okay that you don't, but to say it's ridiculous is, well, ridiculous. It didn't make it in the top 5 and to the number 1 spot for no reason.
@ultraraichu I feel Triforce Heroes is a bit underrated. The level designs and puzzles are all great and very fun to figure out with other players. If only the online connectivity was better and more consistent.
@QBertFarnsworth That's a bit of a stretch but I guess we'll never know now. Skyward Sword also has always been divisive among fans ever since release, for a wide variety of reasons. It would've been great to see that kind of motion controls at the beginning of the Wii's life though.
Skyward Sword is without a doubt my absolute favorite, as well as one of my all time favorite games. I remember being so immersed in the world, and so amazed by the gameplay. It's still to this day the most excited I've ever been for a game pre-release, and it managed to surpass my hype and be way better than I thought.
I also voted for Majora's Mask and Wind Waker. It's like choosing between your children, almost like it can't even be a decision.
As a huge Legend of Zelda fan, I really don't care about what game fits where. It's fun to look at and have a general overview, but some fans look way too hard into things and get so worked up over nothing. I still find it funny when fans say the official source is wrong and they have it all figured out.
Nothing for me this week. I plan to get XCX at some point, but I have no extra money to spend and I'm kind of burnt out on open-world games at the moment, having just finished playing Fallout 4.
@TeeJay true but it's just another opportunity for someone to be a jerk because they can. While I don't think every player is out to get somebody, I don't doubt some players do things out of spite or just because thet get annoyed.
From my understanding, getting blacklisted means you won't ever encounter the player who did so, and it pairs you with less players or something to that effect, so even if you're unaware, the consequences are still there.
The addition of being able to buy Friendly Tokens is much appreciated. I still don't think Nintendo has online play down just right, and I'm still iffy about the blacklist system. While I appreciate being able to actually do something about troublesome players, I don't think there should be a penalty for leaving one game. Maybe if you do it repeatedly the game could pick up on it and penalize you, but if something comes up in real life that I have to attend to, I'm going to leave the game, and I don't think the penalty should be very big, if present at all.
@DBPirate the characters that are present are fine, but it's the exact same number of characters that were in the N64 Mario Tennis (it has even less if you count the Transfer pak exclusives). I believe it really continues the theme of laziness. Where are fan favorite characters like Diddy Kong? Nintendo could've easily crammed 30-40 characters in this game.
@XCWarrior I have a feeling this game was not rushed. I honestly think Nintendo and the development team knew what they wanted to make and did just that, and it didn't take them very long. I love Nintendo dearly, but this game is a cash grab through and through, something to have out for the holiday season with Mario's face on it. Because you know mommy isn't going to buy little Timmy a Wii U this Christmas for Xenoblade Chronicles X, much less even be able to pronounce its name.

@TheRealThanos Destiny is not a PlayStation exclusive, as the game is also on Xbox.
Re: Review: TAP TAP ARCADE (Wii U eShop)
@Kirk Just because you say you aren't going to do something, and then do it, doesn't mean you didn't do it.

Re: Review: SteamWorld Heist (3DS eShop)
Super excited for this, although it'll be a while before I get it because of Xenoblade Chronicles X's massive girth.

I find it hard to believe this is a legitimate problem for people. "Boycott because we can't make big boobies!" Lol, ridiculous.

I mean, I kind of agree with him about Miitomo.
