Just gonna say, Jon did go on a video saying that he apologized for what he said and that he was not properly prepared for the situation he was put in. His videos are heavily apolitical, and usually very scripted. He's not very good at talking live and as such, he came out and apologized about what was said. That's my 2 cents though.
This game heavily preys on Fire Emblem veterans who are very familiar with these characters and love them to death. That causes them to want to spend money to get these characters. That's why I quit.
Gave this a try. The random aspect of it does ruin the game quite a bit for me, but did lead to a pretty intense game where my opponent had an Yveltal on their goal and I had to work a pair of Zangoose up to surround it and take their goal, giving that game a bit of a chess aspect. Sadly, I'm not much for winning a game based on luck. Will be dropping this in favor of Fire Emblem Heroes in a few days. Was hoping it would fill the gap till then, but I put it down in favor of Fates a few days ago.
I personally don't see the problem with this. I mean, nobody is forcing you to buy the amiibo's, they are simply there for such. I know a lot of people who simply collect the amiibo's. I mean, I have a set I use for Hyrule Warriors Legends, but apart from that, they're not much more than Nintendo Paraphernalia. I don't see why everyone is making such a big fuss over the amiibo. Yes, Nintendo launched them as a last resort to try and fix the deficit the Wii U caused on launch, but all in all, they look nice and remind us of fonder times we had as children. Come on guys, lighten up. It's Nintendo for Iwata's sake. They've been bringing us smiles for years.

Re: E3 is Coming, Which Means Anonymous Super Smash Bros. Switch 'Screenshots'
I'm a permanent pessimist, so I seriously doubt it'll be a thing.
Re: New Nintendo 2DS XL Announced, Releases 28th July
@GameOtaku Because some of us have huge monstrous hands that would crush a regular 3DS.

Re: Nintendo Will Replace Your Dead Switch Battery, At A Cost
@Yorumi They bypass the battery if plugged into the wall, right? Also, nice pic.
Re: Nintendo Will Replace Your Dead Switch Battery, At A Cost
Least they are offering this as a thing. My Wii U is like 3 years old and I've thought of buying a new game pad but they're just so expensive.

Re: Rumour: New Version of Pokémon Sun And Moon, Pokémon Stars, Is Coming to the Nintendo Switch
I made an account just to post this.
Let's just hope Nemesis doesn't get ahold of it.
