@Munchlax "some kind of synergy or a unique strategy" doesn't necessarily equate to "more challenging and interesting" bosses. It would be cool if instead of types gyms were built around certain strategies (stall, entry hazards, etc). But if it's all built on the foundations of Pokemon's single player campaign, it's still gonna be brain dead easy. Just a different flavor of easy.

@calbeau What a fun coincidence! I live in the Philippines too. Not to get off topic in the comments but my family and I are heading up to Baguio today. I definitely understand where you're coming from. Those types of games are really popular here. But I'm sure plenty of other Filipino gamers who enjoy single player experiences. It can't just be us two.

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting A Switch OLED Or Valve Steam Deck?

ChandlerKeith19

I'm planning on buying a gaming PC next month, so this around this time next year I might get a lot of use out of the Steam Deck. I thought about just getting a Steam Deck instead of a gaming PC altogether, but preordered units won't be available til Q1 2022 I think. But still very much interested, here's hoping I'll have the extra cash in 12 months or so.

Music has this problem too. Remember in 2019 when Lil Nas X's Old Town Road was removed from the Country Music Charts by Billboard because it "wasn't country"? That sparked a huge debate about what songs should and shouldn't be considered "country music" and the importance of genre categorization as a whole.
