@FishyS It is a good game for people who like old school Shin Megami Tensei. Is Shin Megami Tensei worthless because most people never played the 2 first games?
What is wrong with you guys? Every time Zelda 1 is mentioned people say stuff like "It has aged poorly", "Controls are stiff" "it is too cryptic", but then suddenly a remake is not needed? If they did remake it, they could add so much to it without changing the base experience. Expand the map to add more secrets and hint NPCs(this would be a great way to implement Heart pieces), add 3 dimensionality to the dungeons, the original's dungeons were pretty flat, they could add ledges and stuff without having to change the map layout itself and also making everything seamless without screen transitions. They could improve on the combat, as that one is extremely simple and is a heavy part of the original's experience. I think adding more hints would be a huge improvement by itself so people stop this insanity of "play with a guide". If you are playing with a guide, better to not play at all.
Man. I really love the original Act Raiser, but these graphics look really atrocious. Who the ***** does Pre rendered graphics nowdays? I never had my reaction going from excited to disappointed so fast as when I saw the announcement on the Direct. The game seems good, but I don't know if I am willing to pay money for those graphics, when I can play the original
I want it to be Turn Based and DQ9 random encounter system. The fixed monster positions in 11 are boring. All the rest I trust the developers bringing great new mechanics into the series and a delightful experience overall.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Takes A Look At Zelda 64 Recompiled: Majora's Mask
This would be useful back when I was a tweenager playing OoT at 10 FPS. Nowadays with how effortless N64 emulation is, it does not matter anymore.
Re: Feature: 33 Games We're Surprised Still Aren't On Switch
Dragon Quest 4-8. It boggles my mind we get 1-3 and then that is it...

@AlexanderDaniels Terranigma is a more pressing matter in my opinion

WTF? Laura actually looks Brazilian!
Also why are all the brown skinned characters looking like Indian? That is very bizarre.

Oh and HD-2D remakes of 1-6 would be a treat
