I played the first couple of levels on pc last night and though it was great fun.
I think folk need to bear in mind the target demographic for these games. As do reviewers ( yes reviewers are folk too). That demographic being gamers with families who either don't game a lot or don't play the genre a lot
With that in mind it actually does a good job of easing newbies in and still providing a challenge to more experienced dungeoneers.
And it's really pretty. Something I thought I'd never say about Minecraft. At least not pre RTX.
In other news. The actual game is really good. I played it a lot in coop on PC and will definitely grab it on Switch too. It's a pretty special game imo
That's all well and good but were Nintendo Life first with this news? I don't think so.
We all know that news is only news when it's new. I mean surely that's obvious right? And/or if we hear it from a random minor YouTuber.
Any other time. Even if most people haven't heard it before, it's clearly not news to them because the insignificant YouTuber said it first. It doesn't matter whether you or I saw them say it. It's just not news. Best leave it to the YouTuber and shut up shop NL.
I mean I wouldn't say no to a Ninty sub service, but I really do dislike the term Activist Investor. It's a term very deliberately used for its more positive wider world activism connotations, but investment "activists" from what I've seen very rarely act in the interests of the wider world. It's a really misleading term.
Honestly I don't think I would ever bother with the cards or the disc. I do have the odd amibo figure lying around though.
The main reason I don't have any issues with the disc being used though, is that I honestly believe that price gougers should be stamped out. I'd rather see them lose out than have people spend money on them.
They're scum imo and in all sorts of ways have made this crisis worse.
I actually think that companies like Ninty should be very vocal in asking people to be patient and not buy at these exorbitant rates. The fact that they're pretty quiet about it is disappointing.

Re: Golf With Your Friends Brings Multiplayer Mini-Golf To Switch Next Month
They played this on Go8Bit (still sad that it got cancelled btw) didn't they? Looked like a lot of fun there.
