@NintendoByNature Yeah, same. I hope this is a fake, and the real Switch "2" or Switch "Pro" will have a more improved and sleeker design. I'm sure they can come up with more enhancements than.. the above in the post.
@ATHFjman18 I looked on the day of release and it was frickin' hard to find copies. Thankfully, a streamer let me know to check GameStop, and I was able to order a copy online and pick it up at a GameStop like 20 miles away from me. Otherwise, it was sold out at Best Buy and Amazon, and Target, and it still is today. Capcom probably either relying just on digital sales and printing less physical copies, which is the trend these days
I wouldn't mind at least getting a 30-minute Mario movie with all the current Mario voice actors/actresses from the games voicing their characters. As read in the previous comments, a movie length Mario speaking would be too much, but 30 minutes would work for me.
@wuntyme8 I hope so too! I think Nintendo was afraid of the bloat causing the long loading times on the Wii U to come back on the Switch, so they went with a minimalistic approach to the Switch UI. Hoping with the next-gen Nintendo console, all of that WILL indeed come back. Who knows, maybe the newer devs and hardware designers will come up with more whimsical Nintendo feels, or maybe they won't.
@Thaliard I feel like games are meant to be opened up and played and enjoyed, so when I received my US copy of Rule of Rose before its value went up the way it did, I opened it up, played it, and loved it so much. It's one of my most cherished copies that I will never part with for being initially $40 new at Target.
Other games I won't part with would be Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars, Vagrant Story, Wario World, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, my unsealed copy of the Metroid Prime Collection, the Fatal Frame games including my Japanese copy of IV, my copies of all the mainline Silent Hill games (yes, even Downpour), The Legend of Zelda games, pretty much anything from Nintendo, just pretty much my whole collection. I've just updated my game collection in my profile, but you guys can check it out! It doesn't have the Sony games (hence why this website is called nintendolife).
@Donutsavant I totally agree about the bad and ugly! Also, the bosses were pretty much the same, except they get a little harder. I was disappointed. I also didn't like the fact that you had to backtrack and revisit worlds to get upgrades, and it was a pain. I recently played this game I last month and I wanted to slam my head against the the hitting you too hard, or dying from falling into space??? WTF lol
At first it was a cool game, but then my hands started cramping and I was getting annoyed at the stylus aiming.
I think a next-gen Nintendo console with 4K output and 1080p screen would be great. Even with shortages on parts that can process up to 1080p or up to 4K, 4K Nintendo games would look sick on my 4KTV.
I don't expect a Switch Pro, but they'd have to create something that can still play Switch games and also add something new that sets it apart from the Switch.
The worst thing about Metroid Prime Hunters was the gameplay and graphics... I honestly didn't find anything bad about the music. So the composer lucked out there. His music probably made the game barely tolerable tbh
Something else... I always thought she is very bendable and the ball is configured in a way to accommodate her bones and joints in a way where she's able to roll comfortably inside the ball. It's probably quite cramped, though!
Imagine the voices having to carry the game if the game totally sucks. I'll probably get Sonic Frontiers when it's packed with another Sega games as a 2-in-1, on sale lol
Maybe they're getting more office space to buy out their second-party Japanese studio partners and have them work in-house along with the other Nintendo devs. Monolith Soft already looks like a studio ready to be a part of Nintendo already. I can see the office space for not only more games, but also to hire more people to bolster better hardware and software integration into their online network services.
@mandlecreed I def agree. I think this is when Masahiro Sakurai wasn't overworked with making the sequels that came after. I think when you're squeezed dry by Nintendo, the passion gets lost after Melee.
I'm more concerned with wanting Gamecube games on the online Service. Nintendo needs to have that to entice me more to subscribe to their virtual console online service.
On the US eShop, DQXIS is just $15 off from $49.99. It's not steep enough of a discount for me to get it, but I do want it! I'm happy with the other digital purchases I made for Black Friday/Cyber Monday, though!
I just got the Castlevania Anniversary and Advance collections just now on the Switch eShop! These are great deals and purchases to add to your digital library if you're a new Switch (or Switch OLED) owner! Def worth it since I do plan on marathoning the Metroidvania ones.
I'd love to see "sequels" to OOT made with the code they found. I think it would be similar to the Mario romhacks we see. We could also see Eggman or King K Rool or Mega Man in Zelda romhack lol
@Sdelintwouters Thanks for the heads up. That should give us US consumers an idea on what pre-orders will be like in the US. I would imagine this revision isn't as high demand compared to the idealized specs of the elusive Switch Pro we've been reading about and the Pro may just exist as a fantasy (until the next generation).
All the yet-to-be-released Switch OLED model is is just that, a model with OLED. People who already own the earlier model Switches may not want to spend more money just for one major feature among minor ones (Ethernet cable, kickstand, better audio). Maybe the US will have a couple hours window. We'll see lol
I'm gonna be refreshing every so often for pre-order pages to show up! This will be my first Switch. Although it was disappointing that there aren't better guts to have 4K upscaling, that's probably saved for the next generation Nintendo console. Regardless, I'm getting the Switch OLED

I think I'm better off just waiting for a Sega compilation game to come out on Switch or PS5 instead.

Re: Legend Of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal Anime Launches This Year, Here's A First Look
@Xenjamin The anime trailer used the same song in the original game, too. I wouldn't have it any other way, even if I don't understand Swedish lol

@gameboy-x It will be for both. There's a version for original and a version for OLED.
I might get it. I'll wait until it looks legit.
