Damn I want to wait for the inevitable LRG release of the Castlevania collection but I might get this one now!
Ahh nvm I thought that the Advance collection is 5$
Damn, too bad I don't own a Switch otherwise I would jump on these.
Cool beans. Not interested myself but good deal for fans.
I wonder if the Castlevania Advance Collection will eventually drop
down to $5 like the Castlevania Anniversary Collection did.
I got Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection for $5 earlier this year, and... I regret it.
The emulation feels decent, but the options are painfully limited, the lackluster game selection sticks out like a sore thumb, and the lack of online leaderboards is a missed opportunity. Buyer beware.
@CharlieGirl The Contra and Castlevania collections are excellent, if you are into those I recommend them.
@Medic_Alert Aria is one of the best Castlevania games of our time. It has issues with farming, but that's largely optional. It's a good time, regardless. I used to speedrun that game for about 2 years!
The castlevania games are fantastic. I hope that they do a DS collection at some point. Sure it might need some reworking but I would buy them as they are stupidly priced on the second hand market.
£1.99 for Contra Rogue Corps! SOLD!
Ahhh, thought Advance Collection was also $5 based on the headline. I'll wait. It's worth $20, I just don't have the time so no point paying full price now.
4 dollars is still too much for rogue corps lmfao
I know nobody will care, but Skelattack was a lot of fun, and well worth the $4.
Time for a classic Metal Gear Collection, with the MSX and NES games, along with Ghost Babel! If only… Lol. I have all these games offered, even Skelattack. Which has charm at first, but the constant instant death shoved at you in the game, with ridiculous Mega Man X wall jumping killed it for me. I grabbed Contra Rogue Corps while it was super cheap last time, but I haven’t found time to really try it. The main game I play on the Anniversary Collection is Gradius 2. And I love all the Castlevania stuff… I wanna love Bomberman R, I got it at launch and even beat the story. The online is either dead, or hit or miss…
@CharlieGirl I suppose it helps if you like shooters. I was delighted with the collection because I love Gradius II (one of my favourite games ever) and enjoyed some of the other treats on there too, but it’s not for everyone, I guess.
Castlevania and Contra collections are a no brainer at $5 each. Absolute classics on the go.
I just got the Castlevania Anniversary and Advance collections just now on the Switch eShop! These are great deals and purchases to add to your digital library if you're a new Switch (or Switch OLED) owner! Def worth it since I do plan on marathoning the Metroidvania ones.
Question is, with a demo available, who will ever ever buy Rogue Corps?
Here I thought Advance was going to be $5.
@RadGravity i’m still waiting for Gradius III
If you buy both Castlevania Collections right now you get A LOT of Castlevania games for $20. Absolutely worth it.
@CharlieGirl
Yeah, same here! It feels so bland for a pack of classic shooters.
@GrailUK I bought it, it’s blurry as hell compared to PS4 version.
@tka060681 What's the game like?
@GannonBanned it’s on Arcade Archives, well worth £6.29!
@RadGravity wait what????? I thought only Gradius II was on there!!! I still play my Gradius III SNES cart
@GannonBanned- definitely there, obviously a wee bit different to the SNES one, but lovely!
@GrailUK not very good twin stick shooter, but for $4.99 is totally worth it, I give it a 6 out of 10. Get PS4 version if possible.
