What does Galaxy have to do with this?! Yeah, it looks like it is going to be a great game and I'm going to pick it up later today, but that's still no excuse for this week's VC lineup to be disappointing. They could have released Mario RPG, Mega Man or TMNT 2 alongside those games.

I think we could also use a Mario game for the N64, as well.

Combine it with Sonic and Knuckles though and it will be the ultimate Sonic 2D experience!

Well, not many people liked New Super Mario Bros. And the PSP already has Sonic Rivals which was in 2.5D

Sonic is already awesome in my book. He's alot cooler than almost every mascot.

I think both Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World are equal. But I already have the game for my NES, though I am happy it finally came out to the Virtual Console.

To me, that game looks like a Mario sports party but with Sonic characters (despite Sega developing it, I feel Nintendo may have taken over the game).

Pocketim. don't worry. Now that Rare says it's possible for Banjo to hit the vc, Diddy Kong Racing may also come too. However, if I had to guess, Donkey Kong Country 3 has to come out firdt to finish the DKC triology.

After playing Double Dash! for so long, I must say that this game is alot better. Double Dash was "too colorful". My brother had Super Circut and MK: DS but they were boring to me. Super Mario Kart was cool but I don't know which one to choose between this or Super Mario Kart.

Well, Drake. I have yet to play Sonic 06, but Secret Rings was somewhat not what I was expecting. Not looking forward to Mario and Sonic either, but I'll try it.

And Marcel Van Duyn didn't really need to call Sonic's 3D games "lackluster". That's an insult to the Sonic fanbase!

Well, Secret Rings was just average to me. I fail to see how the game took the series back to it's 2D roots as it plays nothing like a Sonic game. Heroes did a better job at that.

I love nearly all Sonic games, because Sonic is better than most video game heroes. Sonic Spinball and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine were some of the few that I hate.

tank2tank, I completely agree with you. Nintendo needs to take a look back at what made the Donkey Kong games so great. But I actually, prefer if Rare goes back to Nintendo than the other way around.

Heck, Nintendo is doing the same thing with Mario. Ever since the Gamecube era, the Mario series is getting a lot worser (except Paper Mario: TTYD). Too many spin-offs and not enough platformers.

It's hard to tell which one is better. If you're a 2D fan then Mario World is the right choice, but if you enjoyed the Super Mario Bros. game then Super Mario 64 is up your alley as it transforms the gameplay from 2D to 3D well. Super Mario Sunshine was a step in the wrong direction (it's like World gone wrong). Those who do not have that game, don't bother buying it. It just worth a rent.

Whatever! Can they please just release TMNT 2: The Arcade Game already?!

Say What?! No N64 games! But we need more N64 games than the 9 we already have! What the heck is Nintendo thinking?! At least release Mario Party for the month of Mario.

I think this is how Mario games should be like more often. To tell you the truth, Mario games were a whole lot better on the N64 then they are on the Gamecube. I'm sorry to say this but Mario games on Gamecube just aren't that fun.

This game is a very good spin-off of the Mario series. If you like colorful games then this is up your alley.

This game is ten times better than Super Paper Mario. Now between this and The Thousand Year Door?, I actually like them both equally. I'm sorry to say this but Super Paper Mario is not worth the money. It is worth a rent, though.

I agree with tank2tank. After DK64, the series hasn't had any good platformers in a while. DK: Jungle Beat, from what I heard, wasn't all that good. Personally, I want a sequel to Donkey Kong 64.

I agree with Jackaroo. It's not a true Sonic game but it is a great game, nevertheless. Just like how Secret Rings is from the other 3D Sonic games. Terrific, now all we need is Sonic and Knuckles (and possibly Knuckles in Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles).

These Genesis games are the only good Sonic games to play on the Wii. Secret Rings was a bit of a disappointment for me.

YES! this game perfectly makes up for Super Mario Bros. 2 (Japan)! Me and my brother used to love this game.

I agree, 1 was a little boring but to me it was still good. Sure Sonic 2 can't hold a candle to Super Mario World, but when you combine the power of 1, 2, 3, and Knuckles" together they stand a chance.

Sure some sidekicks are annoying, but that doesn't mean I don't like playing as them. In fact, when you have Tails by your side, he can be of use. For example, if Sonic misses some rings or power ups, Tails will grab them for you.

4 out of 5? You gotta be kidding me. This is actually the first ever Sonic game I played. Yep, that's right, the first! When you combine Sonic 3 and Knuckles together, it is definetly better than Super Mario World.

Don't forget we also got Sonic 2 before they did.

We know DK64 will be there because Nintendo owns the rights to the franchise, Michael.
