Genuinely surprised by this review. Bubsy is the first game that I recognized as a bad game, as a kid, in a time where I could enjoy anything. Haven’t been able to make heads or tales out of all the sudden love those games are getting.

Since they’re never going to bother putting an end to the awful slop publishers , could we at least get filters or the ability to block said publishers? I don’t even bother perusing the eshop, because there is so much crap to dig through,

De-list all the available backlog, just to make it available as subscription only? What happened to “we are not a retro company”?

That said, if they did more than the usual Genesis/Megadrive re-releases, and actually used their backlog of Arcade, Master System, Saturn and Dreamcast titles, I’d at least be marginally interested.

Really wish all the Mario and Peach costumes were just skins though.

I think I might be in the minority here, but I think the single player content for the series as a whole is kind of awful. I’ve always been the type to play through the entire day of the campaign before jumping online with all games, exception being Splatoon. It’s just not that good, IMO.

No more obnoxious “wah!” In the music. All that matters.

I mean, it looks far superior to Ark’s own DD4, and that awful Neon game, but that isn’t saying much. Why not just make an outright Kunio game? Wish they’d do something with elements of Super and Advance, imo the best games in the series.

Looks like it’s using the assets from the previously abandoned Golgoth Studios remake, but they cheaped out and didn’t bother with the animation.

Already sold on the concept alone. Just hope they do a bette ruin at sound mixing this time. Blazing Chrome played great, It thr sound in that game was awful. Always had to put thr volume waaaay up on that game.

Honestly, this should have been DLC for the first game.

Glad I held off on buying the first one.

Loved the story and zany concept of the original; but the gameplay was awful. Interesting to see it’s original creators aren’t involved.

Looks more PS1 than N64. Love the art style; but the gameplay looks a little boring.

I love the distinctly non-anime look of the animation! (Guessing that’s why so many don’t) It’s fluid, and fun.

The lack of online is a HUGE detractor. The looks far less like a cruisn game and more like excite bots, and that game had great online multiplayer. I’m going to pass…
